HY、地元・沖縄でのツアーファイナルにてライブ映像作品のリリースを発表

ニューアルバム『CHANCE』をリリースした後、3月26日の新木場STUDIO COASTからスタートした『HYカメールツアー!! 2017』。ファンの人たちにアルバムの新曲を直接届けるために全国を巡ってきたHYが6月17日に20公演目となるツアーファイナルを沖縄・ミュージックタウン音市場で迎えた。

「ただいま、沖縄！」と告げると、会場から即座に「お帰り!!」の声。HYのライブはいつもメンバーとお客さんの間に、気持ちの開いた、とてもあたたかい空気を感じるのだが、やはり地元は特別。1曲目からたて続けに演奏されたニューアルバムの曲にも、一斉に挙げた手を懸命に振りながら、大きな笑顔と歓声で応えてくれる。今、同じ空間で、この瞬間を一緒に楽しもうという想いを強く感じるのである。

ツアータイトルの「カメール」とは、沖縄方言で「掴む、掴まえる」を意味する言葉。HYと応援してくれる人との出逢いの中から与えられたチャンスが、かたちを変えて曲になり、聴いてくれた人の夢を掴まえるきっかけになれたら…。会場で出逢った人それぞれが心の中に抱いている大切なものを掴んでほしい、という想いが、このツアータイトルになった。

「ホワイトビーチ」「AM11:00」「隆福丸」というHYの歩みには欠かせない初期の曲も織り込みながら、ライブ中盤まではニューアルバム『CHANCE』収録の新曲が並ぶ。《だからお願い　僕のそばにいてくれないか　君が好きだから》と想いをストレートに告げていた「AM11:00」と、《君がくれた生きる意味を　忘れないように　希望を描いてく》と歌う「君の声」。14年の歳月の中の様々な経験が大切な糧になり、HYの今があると思える選曲だった。

そしてHYライブではおなじみの「イーズーコーナー」へ。これまで小芝居や恋愛相談など、毎回仲宗根の発案によるこのコーナー企画を楽しみにしているファンの方も多い。今回は、ライザップ体験で減量した仲宗根の自虐的な曲（名嘉談）「DEBUと言われて」がテーマ。この超絶バラードを歌う仲宗根の隣で、なんとHYメンバーがバックダンサーとして踊りを初披露。これには少し驚いたが、何にも真面目に楽しむHYらしく、メンバーそれぞれの個性的なダンスに会場のみんなも笑顔に。きっとこの企画を思い浮かんだ時の、仲宗根のおもしろがっている表情が想像できる（笑）。また今までDVDなどでも映像化のなかった「イーズーコーナー」が、この夜、AbemaTVの生中継で放映されたのもファンのみんなには嬉しいサプライズだろう。

後半はパワフルに一気に走り抜けていったHY。「ラストは、みんなのハッピーを集めていきたいと思います」という新里が、会場の中から指名した人に、最近ハッピーだと感じたことを話してもらう。指名されたのは、偶然にもライブ中に新里が投げたタオルを受け取ったという女性と、この日のミート＆グリートに当選したという男性。ほかにも地方では結婚や妊娠のハッピーな報告もあったとか。一人のハッピーが会場に広がり、みんなのココロもあたたかくする。そして、「みんなにたくさんのハッピーが訪れますように想いを込めて」と言って、最後に「HAPPY」が歌われた。

アンコールでは、ツアーで久しぶりに歌われたHYのラブソングの代表曲「NAO」、ライブでしかやらない特別な曲「フェイバリットソング」、さらに1stアルバム『Departure』から「旅立ち」を歌ってライブは終了した。

この夜、ステージで発表された嬉しいニュースがあった。それは…メンバー1人1人をそれぞれカメラが追った『カメールツアー』のDVDが9月20日にリリースされること。新里がアコースティックギターによる弾き語りソロツアーを行なうこと。そして来年はセルフカバーアルバムをファンのみんなと作り上げ、その新作を携えて全国47都道府県ツアーを行い、初日は、HYの日（9/22）に沖縄・宜野湾市海浜公園屋外劇場で開催することが発表された。

ステージに並んだHYメンバーは、みんな笑顔だった。「Are you Happy？」と、仲宗根が会場に投げかけた言葉に、会場のみんなが即座にこう答える。

「I'm Happy!!!!!」

梅雨の雨が降る沖縄ファイナルは、たくさんの晴れわたる“笑顔"と“Happy"のあふれる夜になった。
