GLAYの新作をさらに楽しく美味しくするオリジナル函館サマーギフトが販売決定

GLAYが7月5日（水）から7月27日（木）までの期間、株式会社レコチョクが運営する共創・体験型プラットフォーム「WIZY（ウィジー）」で「GLAY函館サマーギフトセット“SUMMERDELICS”」プロジェクトを展開する。

2017年に結成30周年、メジャーデビュー23周年を迎えたGLAYは、約2年半ぶりとなるアルバム『SUMMERDELICS』を7月12日にリリース。「デストピア」「超音速デスティニー」「空が青空であるために」「HEROES」といった人気TVアニメテーマソング、北海道新幹線開業イメージソング「Supernova Express 2017」、「Red Bull Air Race Chiba 2017」大会テーマソング「XYZ」、TVドラマ『ファイナルファンタジーXIV 光のお父さん』主題歌「the other end of the globe」など、話題の楽曲を全14曲収録した超強力な内容で、メンバーそれぞれが作詞・作曲を手掛け、4人の個性が凝縮された、まさに今のGLAYを体現する一枚となっている。

また、冬のイメージが強いGLAYにとって、これが初の“夏”アルバム。本作に収録されている「the other end of the globe」はレコチョクのCMタイアップにも決定していて、発売日の7月12日（水）より各局で放送がスタートする。また、放送に先駆け、GLAY公式YouTubeアカウントではCMを先行公開中！

そんなGLAY初となる夏のアルバムのリリースを記念し、アルバムを聴きながら100%GLAYを楽しめるサマーギフトをWIZY限定プロジェクトとして展開！ 「GLAY函館サマーギフト」は、GLAYオリジナルデザインBOXに、メンバーの故郷である函館名物の函館ラーメンやオリジナルラーメンどんぶり、メンバーおすすめの函館名物などを詰めてお届けするセットとなっている。
