Angelo、主催イベントでminus(-)、A9、NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST、MEJIBRAYと熱演

Angelo主催イベント『THE INTERSECTION OF DOGMA』が、7月27日にZepp Diver City Tokyoで開催された。2012年に初めて開催された当イベントもついに5回目。今回も世代やジャンルを超えた幅広いバンドが東京・お台場に集結し、会場に集まったファンを熱狂させた。

オープニングを飾ったのは、minus(-)。藤井麻輝の凛とした佇まいと、力強いツインドラムが会場を一気に独自の世界観で包み込む。続いて登場したMEJIBRAYは、さらに出演バンドの幅の広さを見せつけ、メロディアスでキャッチャーな部分も持ちながらも、全体を通してハードで攻撃的な楽曲が続いた。「暴れ回って行こうか！」と登場するや否や客席を煽ったのはNOCTURNAL BLOODLUST。尋（Vo）は「久々のライブに緊張している」と話しながらも、1曲目の「Malice against」からラストの「V.I.P」まで「もっと！もっと！」と観客のボルテージを上げていく。出番がトリ前ということで、自らを「白身魚のポワレみたい」と料理のコースで例えたのはA9だ。実際にイベントの前にAngeloに挨拶した時の様子を将（Vo）は、「キリトさんを間近で拝見しまして、バンドやっててよかったと思った」と興奮気味に話し、イベントへ参加できたことの喜びを表した。

そして、いよいよAngeloが登場する。待ち望んでいた観客たちからの大きな歓声とは対照的に、静かに登場するメンバーたちだが「暴れちまえよ」というキリト（Vo）の言葉をきっかけに、1曲目の「Daybreakers」から最高潮の盛り上がりを見せていた。さらに「どのバンドのファンも狂ってるんだから、力を出し切ってぶっ壊そうぜ」という言葉通りKOHTA（Ba）、Karyu（Gu）、ギル（Gu）もステージを縦横無尽に駆け回る。

アンコールでは、満足そうな表情を浮かべたキリトが「どのバンドもかっこよかった」とイベントを振り返ると、会場からは自然と拍手が沸き起こった。それぞれのバンドの持ち時間は30分弱だったが「良さは時間の長さじゃない」というキリトの言葉がこの日のイベントを表している。興奮と熱狂の中、今年の『THE INTERSECTION OF DOGMA』は終演。同会場Zepp Diver City Tokyoで7月28日、7月29日と2日間を通してワンマンライブを行なうAngeloの熱い夏祭りは続く。
