ベルウッド・レコード内のピアノ弾き語り系の名門レーベル『Cocktail』、創立15周年を記念し、オムニバス・ミニアルバム収録の幻の音源の配信をスタート！

「はっぴいえんど」や「あがた森魚」などを輩出したベルウッド・レコード内に2002年秋、発足したピアノ弾き語りレーベル『Cocktail』。
「奥華子」「高田みち子」「鈴木朋」「入日茜」「信保陽子」などが参加し、ピアノと歌だけというシンプルな形態で個性を表現した女性シンガーソングライター達のレーベルである。
そのシンプルでいて、なおかつ奥深い歌で構成されたオムニバス・ミニアルバムやソロ・シングルは、都内ライブハウスを中心に当時活性化していたピアノ弾き語りシーンを象徴するものであり、J-POP界のピアノ弾き語りシーンを円熟させる大きな影響を与えた作品となった。その後、レーベルは数年の休眠を経て現在もなお、ピアノ系女性シンガーの作品をリリースしている。
このたび、『Cocktail』レーベル創立15周年を記念して、今や店頭では入手困難になっていた、創立時の貴重な音源たちの配信が2017年8月23日よりスタートすることが決まった。
その中にはキーボードでのストリートライブを重ねて「10万人の足をとめた魔法の声」といわれる“奥華子”の原点ともいえる『Rainy day』（※ファンの支持が高く、彼女の最新アルバムの1曲目を飾っている）もピアノ弾き語りのオリジナル・ヴァージョンにて聴くことができる。
ピアノ弾き語りファンはもとより、そうでないJ-POPファンも必聴の音源で有ることは間違いない。

以下、『Cocktail』レーベル参加アーティスト達から15周年のお祝いと配信についてのコメントが寄せられている。

◆「デビュー前の当時にしか書けないような歌詞と、色んな葛藤の中にある歌がそのまま収録されている『Cocktail』のピアノ弾き語りは私にとって特別な録音です。
