【cinema staff】『進撃の巨人』後期EDテーマであるニューシングル「great escape」の全貌が明らかに！

　話題沸騰中のTVアニメ『進撃の巨人』の後期エンディングテーマ「great escape（TVサイズver.）」の緊急配信をスタートしたばかりのcinema staff。このフルサイズ楽曲の発売が待たれる中、2013年8月21日に発売となるニューシングルの全貌が明らかになった。

　公開されたニューシングルのジャケットには、cinema staffの作品としては初めてバンドメンバー全員が姿を見せている。ライヴの勢いそのままに演奏をする彼らの回りを囲む光の線。激しさと繊細さ、静と動のイメージが強い彼らをそのまま体現したような幻想的なジャケット写真がインパクト大だ。また、同時に公開されたアーティスト写真も、メ ジャーデビューから1年を経て成長した彼らの佇まいがそのまま切り取られた印象的なものとなっている。

　そして、7月11日に千秋楽を迎えた全国ツアー「僕たちの秘法」tourの渋谷CLUB QUATTRO公演より、数曲がカップリング収録されることが決定していたが、そのタイトルも明らかになった。メジャー1stフルアルバムのタイトル曲「望郷」はもちろん、チェロやアップライトベースのゲストミュージシャンを招いて演奏されたアンコール曲「溶けない氷」も含め、最新ライヴ音源6曲が収録されるという。

　ニューシングルはたっぷり全7曲の収録に、初回プレス分は“TVアニメ『進撃の巨人』描き下ろしイラスト入り デカ帯仕様"となるそうなので、気になる方はぜひ早めの予約を！ 7月26日（金）には、TVアニメ『進撃の巨人』でオープニングテーマを手がけるLinked Horizonのトーク＆ライヴイベント「自由への進撃」へゲスト出演。8月には「ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2013」への出演など大忙しの彼らからますます目が離せない！
