ウルフルズが復活を発表！約6年半ぶりとなるオリジナルアルバムのリリースも決定！

　活動休止をしていたウルフルズが、2月25日に復活することを発表した。2009年8月に大阪・万博記念公園で行われたバンド自身の野外イベント『ヤッサ09FINAL!!』で惜しまれつつ活動を休止し、あれから4年半…。いよいよ活動を再開、そしていきなり約6年半ぶりとなるオリジナルアルバムのリリースも発表した。

　約6年半ぶりのオリジナルアルバム『ONE MIND』は5月21日にリリースされ、泣き、笑い、感動、元気が詰まったウルフルズらしい楽曲ばかり全12曲が収録される。また、同アルバムからウルフルズらしいアッパーで軽快なお気楽ソングの新曲『どうでもよすぎ』が2月25日より配信され、2月28日にはミュージックステーションに出演し、この新曲とウルフルズの代表曲でもある『ガッツだぜ!!』をパフォーマンスする予定だ。

　オリジナルアルバムの初回生産限定盤は『ガッツだぜ!!』『バンザイ～好きでよかった～』『ええねん』など代表曲10曲が収録された【ベストアルバム付き『復活だぜ!!』盤】となっていることにも注目したい。ウルフルズ初心者のユーザーにも楽しめる1枚となっており、復活記念として77,777枚限定となっている。

　また、久しぶりに4人で撮影したアーティスト写真は、1995年にリリースした8枚目のシングル『SUN SUN SUN'95』のジャケットのオマージュ。撮影時、メンバーやスタッフが驚いたという、全く変わらない姿を是非見比べて頂きたい。最新のMusic Videoは、とにかく4人で走る走る…ひたすら走る映像となっている。新曲『どうでもよすぎ』の歌詞を追うカメラにひたすら映ろうとするメンバーの姿も含め、最新Music Videoは是非ともチェックを！

　メンバーは復活に関して「また全力でバンドやります！よろしくお願いします！」とコメント。テレビ朝日『ミュージックステーション』エグゼクティブプロデューサーである、山本たかお氏は「いやぁ、本当に嬉しい！ウルフルズが帰って来てくれました。まさに「バンザ～イ！好きでよかった～」再活動してくれるとずっと信じてました。この４人でしかありえない唯一無二のスーパーバンド！アホアホパワー全開でまた暴れまくって欲しい！Ｍステで待ってます！お帰りなさ～い！」とコメントを寄せた。

　ウルフルズは2月28日にミュージックステーションに出演し、その後は3月16日に両国国技館で行われるライブイベントに参加。約6年半ぶりとなるオリジナルアルバムを5月21日にリリースし、夏にはウルフルズ恒例の野外イベント「ヤッサ!」の開催が決定、そして6年ぶりの全国ツアーも決定しており、今後のウルフルズの活躍に目が離せない！
