GLAYが『スッキリ』とコラボして初の結婚式サプライズを実施！

11月30日（木）に放送3000回を迎える日本テレビの朝の情報番組『スッキリ』が、『結婚式を全力で応援します！』と題した特別企画を放送する。このプロジェクトは毎朝『スッキリ』を観ているというGLAYに協力を要請し、実現した。今回、番組内で『結婚式をスッキリに応援してほしい人』を募集したところ、GLAYが出演することは伏せていたにも関わらず、約400人の応募があった。

その中から、選ばれた1組の結婚式が先週11月23日（木）に神奈川・横浜で行なわれた。特に余興などは考えていないという新郎新婦の披露宴に、まずは水ト麻美アナウンサーが登場。今回の登場をまったく知らされていなかった新郎新婦、列席者からは大きな拍手と歓声があがった。そして、加藤浩次や近藤春菜らスッキリ出演者からのコメントVTRに、会場が笑顔に包まれる中、さらなるサプライズプレゼントが。

会場を移動し、水トアナウンサー「『スッキリ』からのプレゼントはこちらです！」の声とともに流れてきたのは、GLAYの名バラード「HOWEVER」。イントロと共にメンバーが登場すると新郎新婦は号泣。列席者からは大歓声があがった。さらに、ヴォーカルのTERUより「レコーディングで歌う際に結婚式の最後でご両親にお手紙を読むシーンをイメージして歌った曲があります」と紹介された11月22日にリリースされたばかりの新曲「あなたといきてゆく」を披露。この楽曲は様々な「あなた」と生きてゆく決意と感謝を歌ったラブバラードで、まさに結婚する2人、家族に向けた想いがつづられている。新郎新婦をはじめ、ご両親、会場中の列席者が、さらに涙。目の前で披露されたトップアーティストのスペシャルなライブに会場中が感動で包まれた。

ステージ終了後のGLAYは「「あなたといきてゆく」を、まさに結婚式で披露したのは初めてだった。新郎新婦・ご家族や友人の表情を間近に見ながらの演奏は、とても幸せな気持ちで尊い経験ができた。放送を楽しみにしている」と話していた。

『スッキリ』とGLAYがコラボした今回の企画は、11月30日（木）の『スッキリTOUCH』にて放送される。GLAYと水ト麻美アナウンサーの少し変わったスタイルでのインタビューや、サプライズライブに向けて緊張するGLAYの様子など、貴重な姿も見られるので、ぜひチェックして欲しい。
