THE MODS、全国8カ所を回る2018年春ツアーを発表

11月22日（水）に大阪BIG CATにて全国13カ所を巡ったツアー『THE MODS TOUR 2017 "ONE SHOT DEAL"』を終了させたTHE MODSが、早くも2018年のツアーを発表した。3月2日（金）の新横浜NEW SIDE BEACH!!を皮切りに、3月30日（金）の大阪BIG CATにまで全国8カ所を回る。

2017年はかつての主催レーベル“SCARFACE”の名前を掲げ、同レーベルに在籍していたTHE COLTSとのカップリングツアー『LITTLE SCARFACE FESTA 2017』を実施。そして、秋には前述の全国ツアー『ONE SHOT DEAL』を成功させたTHE MODS。同ツアーでは《世界が悪くなるほど　必要ROCK’N ROLL》と歌う「NAPALM ROCK」がオーラスを飾ったのも印象深く、そのスピリッツが2018年へと受け継がれることは想像に容易い。今回も特にリリース作品を引っ提げたツアーではないということで、どんなセットリストが組まれるのかにも興味が惹かれる。

また、12月にはギタリストの苣木寛之のソロプロジェクト "DUDE TONE" 単独でのアコースティックスタイルライヴ『DUDE TONE LIVE 2017 "Walkin' Blues" #4』が名古屋と新横浜で控えているが、すでに両公演ともソールアウトとなっている。
