陰陽座、シングル「桜花忍法帖」のアートワーク・収録曲を公開

陰陽座が2018年1月10日にリリースするニューシングル「桜花忍法帖」のビジュアルワークと収録曲の詳細が公開となった。

「桜花忍法帖」は2018年1月8日より放送がスタートするTVアニメ『バジリスク ～桜花忍法帖～』のオープニングテーマ。陰陽座は2005年に放映された『バジリスク ～甲賀忍法帖～』のオープニングテーマ「甲賀忍法帖」を手掛け、アニメとともに10年以上経った今でも「甲賀忍法帖」は多くのファンに深く愛され続けている。そして、そのシリーズ第二弾となる『バジリスク ～桜花忍法帖～』のオープニングテーマを、今回も陰陽座が担当するニュースは、改めて『バジリスク』ファンの魂に火を付けた。

新しく公開されたアーティスト写真とジャケットのアートワークは、それぞれ陰陽座というバンドとその楽曲の持つ“陰"と“陽"を体現するかのようなコントラストが印象的。同じ桜をモチーフにしていながら、そこにある光と影を映し出すかのようなビジュアル表現である。

また、ビジュアルワークと同時に公開となった収録曲は、2017年のライヴで収録された陰陽座の「バジリスク」にまつわる3曲の実況録音版（ライヴ音源）。それぞれの楽曲が実際に“生"で歌われて、元々のスタジオ収録版を既に持っているファンも存分に楽しめるものとなっている。

さらにTVアニメ『バジリスク ～桜花忍法帖～』の公式YouTubeでは、陰陽座の「桜花忍法帖」を使ったTVアニメの番宣SPOTが公開となっている。改めて音源が公開となるまで、そちらをチェックして来る日を待っていてほしい。
