ゲスの極み乙女。、リリースパーティに野生爆弾くっきー＆小籔千豊が登場

2月10日、ゲスの極み乙女。が新木場スタジオコーストで『久しくシングル出してなかったから何かシングル出すときの感覚忘れちゃったし、ワンマンするのも何だから仲間を呼んだぜ！あんまライブ無いから来てくれよな！PARTY』を開催した。このイベントはCDシングルとしては2年3ヶ月ぶりとなる「戦ってしまうよ」のリリースを記念して行なわれたもので、タイトル通りにindigo la End、DADARAY、さらには川谷絵音（Vo＆Gu／ゲスの極み乙女。、indigo la End）の参加するバンド・ジェニーハイのメンバーでもある小薮千豊とくっきー（野生爆弾）も出演するなど、実ににぎやかな一夜となった。

トップバッターとして登場したDADARAYは、REIS（Vo）とえつこ（Vo）が両脇のお立ち台に立って盛り上げた「大人やらせてよ」、休日課長がグルーヴィーなベースを聴かせた「少しでいいから殴らせて」など、2017年12月にリリースした『DADASTATION』の収録曲を中心にステージを展開していく。ちょうど一年前に初ライブを行なったバンドながら、REISの堂々たるパフォーマンスやえつことの巧みな掛け合いなどは、この一年での確かな成長を感じさせるもの。REISは“楽しすぎてマイクに口ぶつけちゃって、怪我してるかも”と笑い、「イキツクシ」でステージを締め括った。

セットの転換中は小薮とくっきーがMCを担当し、ジェニーハイの結成秘話などを披露すると、2番手のindigo la Endは「夏夜のマジック」からしっとりとスタート。「想いきり」や「夜明けの街でサヨナラを」といったアップテンポなナンバーで徐々に熱が高まると、彼らの楽曲の中でも最もハードコアな部類に入る「実験前」ではフロントの3人が代わる代わるステージ前方でノイジーなソロを披露し、最初のハイライトを迎える。ライブ後半では「冬夜のマジック」でREISをゲストボーカルに迎え、貴重なコラボレーションに場内が大いに沸き上がった。

続く転換中は小薮が1人でMCをしていると、くっきー扮するベンジャミンボーナスが川谷と休日課長を引き連れて登場し、3人でコントを披露。くっきーとカルキンならぬ“エノキン”のやりとりや、音に合わせてポーズを決める姿にオーディエンスからは笑いと拍手が起こっていた。

この日の大トリを務めるのはもちろんゲスの極み乙女。。「星降る夜に花束を」からスタートし、2曲目でいきなり「キラーボール」という攻めのセットリストで、川谷も曲間で「みんな愛してるよ！」と叫ぶなど、序盤からテンション高め。ちゃんMARI（Key）による間奏もいつもより長めだなと思っていたら……何と川谷が二階席から登場！　予想外の演出に会場中が驚かされた。中盤では「ドレスを脱げ」や「餅ガール」といったアッパーな初期曲を立て続けに披露。さらにコーラスのえつこがX JAPANの「紅」を歌い始め、ちゃんMARIが“新木場だー！”と叫ぶと、川谷が“いや、俺やりたいのそのXじゃないから”と言って、「Mr.ゲスX」へ。ミドルテンポの曲が途中から一転、まさにX JAPANばりのHR/HMな曲調に変化するのが非常にスリリングだ。

川谷とほな・いこか（Dr）がデュエットを聴かせる「シアワセ林檎」で本編を終えると、アンコールではメンバーと共に小薮とくっきーが登場し、この日限りのスペシャルな編成で「私以外私じゃないの」を披露。曲間では小薮のドラムやくっきーのベースをフィーチャーするなど、大いに盛り上がると、ラストはもちろん「戦ってしまうよ」で締め括り、この日の出演者全員が登場しての集合写真で大団円。最後までアットホームな雰囲気でイベントが終了した。
