ゆいざらすことやまもとゆい、初ステージでフロアーに乱入し、肩車をしてはしゃぎ倒す。リコーダーの演奏は、彼女のトレードマークだ。

　ついに、ゆいざらすがライブ活動をスタートさせた。5月13日(日)DESEO mini with VILLAGEVANGUARDを舞台に、主催イベント「でせおみにだいうんどうかい」を開催。出演したのは、ノン☆ストップ!!!/MELLOW GREEN WONDER/みのりほのか/SUMMER ROCKET/病ンドル/やまもとゆいの計6組。当日の模様を、ここにお伝えしたい。

　開場中のフロアーには、リコーダーを手にし、本番へ向け演奏を練習する人たちの姿がアチコチで見受けられた。
　事務所の先輩みのりほのかの、触れた人たちを「宇宙人だ」「エスパー」とマジカルなワンダーサランドへ導いたステージ。トリ前を飾った、運動会の種目形式で行ったジャージ姿の病ンドルの熱狂を受け、イベントのトリを飾ったゆいざらすのライブが幕を開けた。

先に感想を伝えるなら、理性や常識を飛び越え、どれだけ個性豊かにはっちゃけられるかを投影したライブだった。
　リコーダーの音が鳴り響く会場。誰もがステージに登場すると思っていたところを、ゆいざらすはフロアーの後ろから観客たち掻き分けて登場。そのまま演奏は『よーいすとっぷ』へ、「やまもとゆいです帰ってきました、あっ、人いっぱい!!」の声に続き、彼女が歌いだしたのが、チープスリルでアンニュイ、マジカルな現代ポップスチューン。客席ではしゃぐ人たちをつかまえ、肩車をしながらフロアーを俳諧し歌えば、中盤では、観客たちと一緒にリコーダーを吹く場面も。なんてハチャメチャな。でも、気持ちの揺れ動くまま自由に歌いはしゃぐ姿こそ、ゆいざらすらしさ。終盤では「ラー、ララ」と合唱も起きていたように、『よーいすとっぷ』はライブで心地好い一体化を作りあげる楽曲という印象だ。もちろんリコーダーは、みなさんお忘れなく。

　「帰ってきました、やまもとゆいです。保育士にはなれなかったけど、君たちヲタクを死ぬまで面倒みてあげるからよろしくお願いします」。その言葉が嬉しいじゃない。彼女の挨拶中も、フロアーでは観客たちがリコーダーを吹き続けていた。

一転、スリリングでジャジーなパーティポップチューン『宵夢バタフライ』の登場だ。笑顔を少しだけ封印し、クールに、大人の女性の色気も振りまき歌う姿が印象的だ。可愛いだけではない、相反する表情も提示したことで、ゆいざらすの音楽性の懐深さを実感。あえて弾けたステージングを抑え、舞台上で華麗に歌い躍る…はずが、間奏ではヲタクに肩車をしてもらい、フロアーを闊歩しながら歌う場面も。やっぱし、身体は騒がずにいれないということか。

　チープスリルなテクノビートが炸裂。身体を心地好く揺らすファンキーなEDMポップナンバー『かいじるし』を、ゆいざらすは軽快にスキップしながら歌う。騒ぐというよりも、ゆったり心地好くうねるグルーヴの中へ身を浸し遊ぶという表現のほうが正しいだろうか。ステージを右へ左へ移動しながら、観客たちをじっと見つめ、微笑みながら歌う姿も印象深い、フロアーでは、サイリウムと一緒にリコーダーも振り掲げられていた。それってまさに、ゆいざらすのライブスタイル?!。舌ったらずな雰囲気で歌う様も魅力的だ。

最後に歌ったのが、激しく炸裂したEDMポップナンバーの『途中下車スーサイド』。身体を心地好く揺らし、駆けだす演奏の上で満面の笑顔を浮かべ、ファンたちを無敵のスマイルで挑発。サビでは大きく手を振り上げファンたちと騒げば、フロアーからはコールも飛びたしていた。互いに初体験となるライブとはいえ、お互いに楽曲の持つノリをつかみ、思いきりはしゃいでいた。サビでファルセット声も交え、フロアーに可愛い熱狂を産み出したゆいざらす。終盤には、ふたたびフロアーに降りてはしゃげば、女の子ファンがヲタクに背負われ騒ぐ場面も。最後は、フロアーのド真ん中でライブを終了。最後の最後にゆいざらすの歌に合わせ、ファンたちがリコーダーを吹き続ける場面も強烈なインパクトを残してくれた。

　今回のライブは、ゆいざらすとファンたちとの最初の接近遭遇。この日生まれたわちゃわちゃな空気が、これからゆいざらすのライブへどんな風に活かされてゆくのか、ちょっと楽しみになってきた。
