d-girls、リミックス曲を多数収録したアルバム「Smile again -Remix-」を発売!!

d-girlsが、DTMステーションとタッグを組み2年連続で行ない続けてきた「d-girlsリミックスコンテスト」。第一回目は「CHANGE THE WORLD」を題材に実施。当時選出された楽曲たちは、オリジナル曲も含む全8曲入りのリミックス盤「CHANGE THE WORLD -Remix-」として発売になった。その第二弾として選ばれた楽曲が、d-girlsのライブで熱狂を描き出す「Smile again」だった。選出されたリミックス曲は、昨年8月13日に恵比寿LIQUIDROOMで行なわれたワンマン公演の場で、メンバーたちがリミックスされたトラックに乗せて歌う形で披露になっていた。
当時は1曲のみの歌唱だったが、第二回目のリミックスコンテストでは全部で14曲のリミックスナンバーが最終選考に残っていた。その14曲にオリジナルバージョンも加え、リミックス集第二弾作を作りあげた。それが、発売になったばかりのアルバム「Smile again -Remix-」になる。
オリジナルバージョンが、どのように多彩な表情へ描き直されたのか、その妙味をぜひ作品に耳にしながら感じてもらいたい。今回はCD発売と同時にダウンロードでも販売を行なっている。手にとりやすい形で、まずは触れていただけたら幸いだ。

d-girlsは、3月8日と6月7日に池袋LIVE INN ROSAを舞台に無料公演(1DRINK代は別)を行なえば、4月30日には、代官山SPACE ODDでの単独公演も決定している。この3本のライブは、その後に控えたアクションへ向けての布石となる動き。ぜひ、流れを追いかける形でd-girlsのライブにも触れていただけたら幸いだ。とくに無料公演は、お試し感覚で味わえる機会にもなるようにお見逃しなく。
