d-girls、「Smile again」のMVはスマホ対応映像。しかも23区のインスタ映えスポットをメンバーが紹介。

4月30日、代官山SPACE ODDを舞台に単独公演「〜ただではないすげー単独公演〜」の開催を(現状)控えているd-girls。彼女たちは一昨年と昨年、d-girlsの課題曲をリミックスするコンテストをDTM STATIONと共同で開催してきた。同コンテストで優勝及び上位に入選した曲たちは、これまでに「CHANGE THE WORLD -Remix-」「Smile again -Remix-」2枚のCD盤として発売している。
同コンテストには、国内のみならず海外の人たちからも応募が寄せられれば、2回目となった「Smile again -Remix-」コンテストでは、香港在住の音楽プロデューサーがグランプリを獲得。d-girlsのトランス/エレクトロな楽曲へ海外の人たちも熱い視線を注いでいることも示していった。

このたび、「Smile again -Remix-」のサブスクリプション音楽配信が解禁になった。以下の配信ストアで聞けるように、この機会に原曲と多種多様なリミックス曲を聴き比べ、「Smile again」の魅力を味わってもらいたい。

タイトルへ「【インスタ 映え スポット 東京】Smile again / d-girls Music Video[縦型] 東京23区のインスタ映えスポットを巡る」と記したように、この作品でメンバーたちは、東京23区すべてに足を運び、とくに「インスタ映え」しそうな場所を巡っては、その模様を次々と映像化。メンバー5人が様々な地域を巡るたびに、映像へは足を運んだ区域が記される。が、細かい場所までは示していないように、そこが「何区にあるどんなスポットなのか」映像を手がかりにみなさんで探っていただきたい。中には、とてもわかりやすい場所もあるとはいえ、その地域に根ざした人でないとわからない場所も多く映しだされている。
映像には、プリクラの落書きのようなイラストも書き込まれれば、現在、ライブ活動を休んでいるこだま霞の姿も映し出されているのもファンには嬉しいこと。さらに、今回のMVは「縦型」で制作。つまり、スマートフォンで楽しむことを前提に作られている。パソコンでご覧になる方は、左右余白だらけの画面でこのMVを楽しんでいただきたい。

先にも記したように、4月30日に代官山SPACE ODDを舞台にした単独公演「〜ただではないすげー単独公演〜」が控えていれば、8月13日には、「CHANGE THE WORLD-English Ver.-」のMV撮影でも使用した白金高輪SERENE B2での単独公演も決定しているd-girlsだが…。
日々、刻々と情勢が変わり続ければ、そのときの環境に合わせ、d-girlsもライブの中止や延期など様々な措置を取っている。先に記した公演や、現状決まっているスケジュールも含め、日々のライブ活動の再開が何時になるのかは運営側も都度の判断で決めているように、不透明なのが現状だ。先のライブについては、d-girlsのウェブサイトで日々の動向を確認していただきたい。

まずはサブスクリプション音楽配信を通し、アルバム「Smile again -Remix-」を自宅で楽しんでもらいたい。そして身体がウズウズし出したら、再開の合図に合わせ彼女たちのライブに足を運び、思いきり騒いで欲しい。誰よりも、その日をメンバー自身が心待ちにしているのだから。
