NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST新曲「Reviver」Visualizer 映像公開

本日発売となったNOCTURNAL BLOODLUST2か月連続リリース第二弾となる配信シングル「Reviver」のOfficial Visualizer映像がオフィシャルYouTubeにてフルで公開された。
今回、映像の中に、メンバーが演奏する手元のシーンが盛り込まれた作品となっており、新たなギタリストの存在を初めて匂わす映像となっている。

新曲「Reviver」とこれまでリリースされた2曲に対して米沢 彰氏（激ロック）が考察を寄稿した。こちらも是非チェックしてみよう。

「Life is Once」で6月に突如再始動を果たしたNOCTURNAL BLOODLUST（通称ノクブラ）による3か月連続リリースを締めくくる「Reviver」。
“復活者”を意味するタイトルを冠し、ギターのトレモロ奏法による明るい透明感のある響きで幕を開けるこの曲は、ここまでの3曲を3部作と見ると、まるでパンドラの箱を開き“災い”や“苦難”と立ち向かった末に“希望”と“救済”を啓示するかのような、前2曲と大きく異なるストレートでポジティブなサウンドとメッセージ性を帯びた楽曲となった。
明るいとは言っても、そこらのロック・バンドが見せる底抜けの明るさではないところがノクブラ流。
疾走感あふれるギター・リフに、全員で刻むブレイク・ダウン、シンガロングしたくなるサビとヘヴィなサウンドを基調にしながらもパートごとに豊富な緩急がつけられ、シンプルなメロディの裏では異様な手数のドラムが鳴っていたりと一筋縄ではいかない複雑さがしっかりと組み込まれている。圧巻はブルージーでメロディの深みと技巧性が両立したギター・ソロ。
ここまで新ギタリストの詳細を明かさずにきておいて、このソロを聴かせるのは反則だろう。
前2曲とは曲の作りが異なり、メインとなったコンポーザーが違う可能性をも感じさせる。
3か月連続リリースという手法の裏にある新体制ノクブラの自信を確信させる節目の1曲。
