【Linked Horizon】「自由への進撃」が3週連続TOP10入り、サンホラは10月に新譜発売＆さいたまスーパーアリーナ決定

　話題沸騰中のTVアニメ「進撃の巨人」のOPテーマを含むLinked Horizonのシングル「自由への進撃」が8月5日付オリコン週間チャートで10位にランクインし、3週連続でTOP10入りしたことが明らかになった。

　同シングルは、発売から3週間で17万枚を超える売り上げを記録し、2013年に発売されたTVアニメタイアップシングルの累計売上枚数で首位を獲得。また、iTunes Storeの総合チャートTOP5にはシングル収録曲「紅蓮の弓矢」「自由の翼」の2曲がランクインし続けており、配信コンテンツだけでも35万ユニット以上を売り上げるという根強い人気を見せつけている。

　7月26日（金）Zepp DiverCity Tokyoにて行われたLinked Horizonトーク＆ライブイベント“自由への進撃”最終公演では、バックバンドにSIAM SHADEのドラム“淳士”を含む圧倒的なテクニックを誇るミュージシャンを従えた「紅蓮の弓矢」に会場のボルテージは一気に爆発。集まった約2,500人が拳を高く突き上げ“イェーガー”の大合唱を繰り広げたほか、cinema staffの歌う後期EDテーマ「great escape」のパフォーマンスなど、「進撃の巨人」の世界を様々な角度から堪能できるステージとなった。

　本編最後には、Linked Horizonを主宰するRevoがデビュー以来9年にわたって活動してきた音楽プロジェクト“Sound Horizon”の3年ぶりの新作を2013年10月9日にリリースすること、そして10月26日（土）さいたまスーパーアリーナにてコンサート“Revo’s Halloween Party”を行うことが発表された（Sound Horizon始動の告知映像⇒http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4d5L5vi0fd0）。物語音楽として、CDパッケージ1枚で一貫した設定に基づいた1つのストーリーが展開されるSound Horizonの作品。初回限定盤（CD＋DVD）と通常盤（CD）の2タイプで10月9日にリリースされるシングルでは、“ある家族とハロウィンに纏わるお話”がコンセプトになるとのこと。
