2020年のネットシーンを賑わせた謎のヴォーカリスト 超学生 初のオリジナル曲が早くも話題騒然！

コロナ禍においてYouTubeに投稿した動画のうち14本がミリオンを記録、それに伴いチャンネル登録者数が2万人から28万人にまで急増するなど、この1年で大きく飛躍を遂げ、今最も勢いに乗っている歌い手の超学生。ベネチアンマスク越しに覗かせる甘いマスクからは想像できない特徴的なガナリヴォイスが話題となり、世代交代著しいネットシーンに突如として頭角を現した新星ヴォーカリストだ。

そんな超学生は、先日すりぃ、syudou、柊キライという新進気鋭のボカロPとのコラボによる初のオリジナル音源を配信リリースすることを発表し、18日には超学生にとっても待望となる1stデジタルシングル『ルーム No.4』の配信をスタートさせた。

同シングルは、『テレキャスタービーボーイ』や『ジャンキーナイトタウンオーケストラ』といった人気ソングを始め、Geroや夏川椎菜への楽曲提供でも話題を呼んでいる新進気鋭のボカロP・すりぃが手掛けた『ルーム No.4』、すりぃの代表曲を超学生がカバーした『テレキャスタービーボーイ (long ver.)』が収録。17日19時に超学生のYouTubeチャンネルにてプレミア公開されたMVはまたたく間に話題となり、公開からわずか5日間で20万再生を突破するなど、順調な滑り出しを見せている。現在もまだまだ伸び続けており、ハーフミリオン達成もすぐに実現しそうな勢いだ。

そしてこの度、超学生は24日19時にsyudouがタッグを組んだ2ndデジタルシングル『バットオンリーユー』のMVをプレミア公開。同シングルはYouTubeの再生回数が1100万回を超える大ヒットとなった楽曲『ビターチョコデコレーション』を生み出したボカロシーンの新星syudouが楽曲提供で参加している。2月には超学生が『ビターチョコデコレーション』のカバー動画を投稿しその再生回数が340万回を突破するなど、かねてから超学生×syudouのタッグは大きな話題を呼んでいた。今回のMV公開を機にさらなる注目を集めており、超学生というヴォーカリストの魅力が確実に広がりつつあることが感じられる。また、シングルには、『バットオンリーユー』のほかに、『ビターチョコデコレーション』をsyudouがリアレンジを施した「超学生 edition」カバーが収録される。こちらも超学生らしさ満載の一曲に仕上がっているとのことなので是非楽しみにしたい。

第一弾に続き第二弾も公開され、ネットシーンのみならず、音楽シーンにおいても注目されつつある超学生。2021年春には超学生のチャンネルでも人気のカバー曲『ボッカデラベリタ』を手掛けた柊キライが楽曲提供に参加した第三弾が配信予定となっており、この勢いはまだまだ止まりそうにない。超学生が掲げるメジャーデビューという夢の実現もそう遠くはないだろう。
