INORAN「Between The World And Me (Lyrics Video)」


ニュー・アルバム『Between The World And Me』をリリースしたばかりのLUNA SEAのギタリスト、INORANがタイトル・トラック「Between The World And Me」のLyrics Videoを公開した。

先日公開された「Leap of Faith」のミュージック・ビデオでは何処か寂しく、もの悲しい、人の感情を美しい映像で見事に表現していたが、今回のLyrics Videoは「Between The World And Me」の歌詞のイメージをダイレクトに伝えるべく、文字やイラストを使って、全体的にはポップな印象に仕上げているのが特徴だ。特筆すべきは、曲の中頃で現れる、まるで、白いキャンパスにINORANと鷹が描かれていくような流れの展開である。これはメインのキー・ヴィジュアルやアルバム・ジャケットの世界観を踏襲したシーンであり、INORANが一環して発信し続けている『Between The World And Me』（＝世界と私の間）というメッセージを改めて表現した、本作のハイライトとも言える印象的なシーンである。

暗転した後に映し出される「In the night　We search for the sunlight　You and I　We could start a new life（夜の中に　太陽の光を探す　君と僕　新しい人生を始めようか）」
―このサビの部分で綴られている歌詞には、「どんな時も明けない夜は無い」、「前に進もう」という、ポジティヴなメッセージ性も込められており、INORAN自身が世界に向けて発信したいという真意がここにある。

そんな強いメッセージ性とアートな一面を兼ね備えた、新曲「Between The World And Me」のLyrics Videoをご覧頂き、楽曲の世界観を是非堪能して欲しい。

また、Lyrics Videoの公開と合わせて、2021年第1弾として3月20日（土）に行われるストリーミング・ライヴの公演タイトル及び詳細が明らかになった。
公演タイトルは 「INORAN - VISION 3 – “Los Cowboys”」に決定し、先月リリースされたばかりのニュー・アルバムの収録曲をメインに構成される内容となる模様だ。
また、今回のプロジェクト始動にあたりINORAN自らが旧知のバンド・メンバーよりYukio Murata(Gt)のみを指名。“2人だけで展開されるライヴ”となる点には、何よりも大注目して頂きたい。
