声優の太田彩華率いる文学的青春パンクバンドの太田家。2ndアルバムの発売を宣言。

昨年11月に発売した1stアルバム「愛読書」が着実に支持を集めている、声優の太田彩華率いる"声優が詠う文学的青春パンクバンド"の太田家。瞬間的に数字を伸ばし、そこで落ち着いてしまうのではなく、ライブ本数を重ねるたび毎回枚数や動員数を伸ばしているように、少しずつ、でも着実に支持を集めているのが太田家の大きな特色。「なんかいいかも」と気になりつつ、いつの間にかファンになってゆく人たちが多いのも、太田家の楽曲がキャッチーなのはもちろん。文学小説のように、後から想いが胸にジワジワと染み込んでゆくからだ。

1stアルバム「愛読書」では、2000年代に起きた青春パンクムーブメントの中心を担いつつ、今も現役で活動を続けているTHE BOOGIE JACKのヒライシュンタ、ザ・マスミサイルの高木芳基、太陽族で歌い続けた花男が楽曲を提供。他にも「レジェンドカバーシリーズ」として、↑THE HIGH-LOWS↓・ガガガSP・モンゴル800のカバー曲も収録していた。　

最近はイベントライブを中心に活動している太田家が、このたび2ndアルバムの制作を開始した。先に、2022年2月22日に「四季織々」を発売することを告知。「あなたの人生に寄り添う太田家の2ndアルバム」というキャッチフレーズも伝えてきた。さらに、先行楽曲として「シュプレヒコールが眠らない」を発表。この楽曲は、Peach株式会社の動画CMソングとしても流れている。

このCMから流れてくるのが、これまで以上に、聞き手の側に寄り添うポップで親しみあふれる曲調。先に語っていた「あなたの人生に寄り添う」という言葉に重なる要素も「シュプレヒコールが眠らない」は備えている。この楽曲が、2ndアルバム全体を現すリード曲となるのか。多彩な表情を持ったアルバムの中の一つの色になるのか。そこは、これからの動きを楽しみに追いかけようか。

今回、発表になったアーティスト写真の中、メンバーそれぞれが「四季」をモチーフにした衣装を身につけている。撮影した場所が、今は廃駅となっている広島にある安野駅。なぜ、太田家がこの駅をロケーションの地に選んだのか…。ここの住所が「広島県山県郡安芸太田町穴５５４」。そう、「太田」繋がりで選んだというわけだ。全国各地の「太田」にまつわる地名や名物とコラボレートし続けている太田家にぴったりのロケ地というわけだ。

太田家について、もう一つ嬉しいお知らせをしておきたい。2ndアルバム「四季織々」発売日の2日前になる2022年2月20日に、太田家は2ndアルバム「四季織々」の発売記念主催イベント「おおた祭り2nd」を赤羽ReNY alphaで行なうことも発表してくれた。

発売日までまだまだ先…と思いがちだろうが、そこへ向け、太田家は次々といろんな展開を仕掛けてゆく。その流れを楽しく追いかけてゆくうちに、気がついたら発売日や主催イベントが目の前に…なりそうだ。ぜひ、太田家の。そして、声優・太田彩華としての動きから目を離さずにいてもらいたい。
