ハイダンシークドロシーの最新配信シングル『Neige chaleur』に覚えた幸福と感動。

イントロのギターの旋律に触れた瞬間から、目の前に雪が舞いだした。その音色へ呼ばれるように「エグリーズ　リュタンに手を引かれ」(教会　妖精に手を引かれ)と歌う谷琢磨の澄み渡る優しい声が、まるで聖歌のように響き渡る。
ハイダンシークドロシーが、12月22日に配信リリースするシングル『Neige chaleur』(ネージュシャルール)。フランス語で「温かい雪」という意味を持つ。

時間にして数分だろう。でも、その短い時間の中、それはそれは至福の時間に包まれてゆく。サビ歌の背景で響くトレモロ効果のギターの音色や、終盤、楽曲の背景で、祝福の音を鳴らすように美しく鳴り響く教会の鐘の音が。何より、触れた人たちの心の内へと手を伸ばし、華奢な細い腕で優しく抱きしめてゆく谷琢磨の美しい歌声に、ずっと心溺れてたい気持ちでいた。その音が止んでも、すぐにリピートしてしまう。繰り返し聞きながら、幸せなこの時へ永遠に触れていたい。この歌の世界へ飛び込み、「硝子色の雪に　映る笑顔と笑顔」を見つめながらずっと幸せに浸っていたかった。

作詞を手がけた谷琢磨がフランス語を多用したのも、楽曲の持つ優しさへ寄り添う温かみを持った言葉として、フランス語の持つ響きを選んだから。「解けない魔法のボノムドゥネージュ」(解けない魔法の雪だるま)、「ブラネージ　舞い煌めくパルピテ」(スノードーム　舞い煌めくドキドキ)など、日本語とフランス語が織りなす歌詞を、愛しい人へ向け愛を届けるように谷琢磨が歌うことで、その言葉は、音楽という魔法をまとい、触れた人たちに幸福と感動を与えてゆく。

谷琢磨自身も語っていたが、「温かい雪」とは矛盾した表現だ。でも、なぜ「温かい雪」という言葉が相応しいと思ってしまうのか。それを言葉で伝えきれないのがもどかしい。「温かい気持ちになる」「優しい思いに包まれる」など在り来りの表現ではすませたくない。本当に「至福を覚える」とは、この歌に触れている間のこと言うんだなと感動を覚えるからこそ、言葉に言い現しきれない心の喜びを、『Neige chaleur』に触れながら感じていただきたい。

最後に一つだけ。この歌を最後の最後まで聞くと、『Neige chaleur』が何を祝福するために生まれたのかの答えが見えてくる。フランス語のわかる方なら、その過程でも、記された言葉からその意味を察してゆくだろう。お世辞抜きに、毎年、この季節が訪れるごとに触れた触れたくなる、永遠に語り継ぎたい名曲が生まれた。

「とても素敵な冬の歌が完成しました。今の世界に大事なのって人と人との気持ちの繋がりや温もり、温度だと思います。冬の歌ということから、ちょっと矛盾した言い方にはなるけど、「冬の温かみ」を意識して歌詞と歌を録りました。なので、そこを感じてほしいのが一つ。これからも気持ちの繋がりという思いを表現の芯に置きながら、いろんな物語を紡いでいこうと思っています」（谷琢磨）
