DAIGO、初の全国ソロツアーが終了！

　ミュージシャン、タレントとして活動中のDAIGOが、全国ツアー「DAIGO LIVE TOUR 2014“DAIGOLD"」（9ヵ所10公演）の最終公演を4月29日（火）に東京・後楽園 TOKYO DOME CITY HALLで行なった。

　3月に発売されたファーストフルアルバム『DAIGOLD』の収録曲を中心とした、“DAIGOのお城で行なわれる宴"というコンセプトでのツアーは、ステージセットもお城を意識したものとなっている。オープニングではアルバム1曲目のファンファーレ「THEME OF DAIGOLD」が流れると、真っ赤な幕が開き、アルバムのジャケット写真と同じ金色に輝く衣装のDAIGOが登場。そのままアルバムのリードトラック「STAY GOLD」、シングルナンバー「無限∞REBIRTH」を披露した。最初のMCで「DAIGOLDツアーへようこそ！ 最高のパーティー、最高の宴にしたいと思います！ 皆でキラキラ輝いた時間に、皆のキラキラした笑顔を見せて下さい！」と盛り上げ、デジタルとロックが融合したナンバー「REVOLUTION EVOLUTION」へ。続けてクールなギターリフから始まる「Realize」などといったロック色の強い曲を披露したと思えば、「I Wish」「いつも抱きしめて」といった優しい歌声を聴かせるミディアムナンバーへと展開し、DAIGOの作る楽曲の幅広さを感じさせてくれる。

　ここで一度DAIGOがステージからいなくなると、遊園地で流れるようなメロディと共に、“ステイダイゴールド"という馬のキャラクターが登場。そして、次の曲の振り付け講座が行なわれ、衣装チェンジをしたDAIGOが「ジェラルミン」「POP☆CORN」の2曲を歌って、振り付けも決まり、会場が一つになる。本編ラストは強いメッセージをもった「YELL」で締めくくられた。アンコールの「いま逢いたくて…」では、ピアノの独奏も披露。緊張が解けたあとのMCではそのままピアノを使い、ドラマのテーマソングなどを演奏し、伴奏が入ったり、演奏の長さにバンドメンバーからツッコミが入ったりなど、息の合った掛け合いが見られた。ダブルアンコールは何度見ても衝撃を受ける羽根の衣装にダンサーを従え、「BUTTERFLY」が披露された。公演最後の演出としてカーテンコールが行なわれ、全出演者が登場したが、鳴り止まないアンコールに再び「STAY GOLD」「無限∞REBIRTH」を演奏し、3時間弱に及ぶステージが終了。

　彼ならではのエンタテインメント性にあふれるショーが終わったステージにはスクリーンが現れ、“緊急告知”の文字をきっかけに、7月26日（土）にZEPP TOKYOで“SHINPEI with MUSCLE ATTACK" 、“AKIHIDE" 、“DAIGO"のBREAKERZソロプロジェクトによる対バンイベント「BATTLE ROYALE ZEPP 2014～第1回 BREAKERZソロ報告会～」の開催を発表。併せて、2012年から2013年にかけて行なわれた「BREKAERZ LIVE TOUR 2013 “BEST"」が7月にDVD化されることも明らかになった。
