YOASOBI、Ayase作詞作曲のボカロ曲「夜撫でるメノウ」をSinging Cosplayer Hikariがカバー！

アニソンやボカロ曲を中心としたJ-POPをカバーするなど国際派の歌い手として活動中の「Singing Cosplayer Hikari」こと「ひなたひかり」が、YOASOBIのAyaseが作詞作曲したボカロ曲「夜撫でるメノウ」をカバー、4月27日(水)0時～各種音楽＆映像配信サイトで全世界配信を開始する。

音楽配信に先立ち、YouTubeにフルバージョンのミュージックビデオが公開された。

今回は彼女にとっては初めてとなるドラマ型ミュージックビデオで、Paraviの恋愛リアリティードラマ「18禁の恋がしたい」出演の他、TikTokerとしても人気の小林太陽が共演している。MVの後半では、歌唱シーンの撮影中、感極まって自然に泣いてしまうなど曲の世界観に入り込んだSining Cosplayer Hikariを観ることができる。配信ジャケ写もその泣いているシーンの映像から切り出している。プロモーション・タイアップ展開はこれから随時発表されるが、4月16日～4月22日、週間 USEN HIT J-POPランキング(A-26)でオンエアが決まっている。

Singing Cosplayer Hikariは2021年元旦から、アニソンやボカロ曲などのJ-POPをカバーしたり、コスプレをしたりするなどJapanese Cultureを世界に発信する活動を勢力的に続けている。特に、2021年4月20日にリリースした青木月光作詞作曲のボーカロイド曲「夢と葉桜」カバーが世界14か国のJ-POPチャートで1位になり、現在も世界中のJ-POPチャートで上位にランクインしており、YouTube映像は248万回以上再生されている他、日本・インドネシア・ベトナムで彼女のカバーバージョンのリミックスバージョンがリリースされている。

また、お笑いタレント・ボディビルダーの なかやまきんに君とコラボで、2022年1月26日、「お願いマッスル」カバーをよしもとミュージックよりメジャー配信リリースした。同曲は、3月末まで毎週土曜放送のカンテレ／フジテレビ系全国ネット「土曜はナニする！？」エンディングテーマソングとして、ミュージックビデオがオンエアされた他、MVやメイキング・振付など関連動画は、公開3ヶ月弱で、YouTube/ニコニコ動画合わせて合計252万再生を突破。LINE MUSIC ミュージックビデオウィークリーチャートで最高位6位、2022年2月度有線ランキングJ-POPお問合せランキングチャートで3位、インドネシア地上波ラジオ局DJFMの2022年4月2日付J-POPウィークリーチャートで3位に入っている。また、同曲のApple Musicのストリーミング再生回数は、前述の「夢と葉桜」カバーの5倍以上となっており、自身最高の配信ヒットとなっている。

さらに、2022年4月3日には、文化放送の新ラジオ番組「アニソンPARTY！」（毎週日曜20:30-20:45）のレギュラーパーソナリティーに抜擢された。同番組はYouTubeでの映像版が番組公式チャンネルだけでなく、Manga News（フランス）、ANIME NEWS NETWORK（北アメリカ）、HYPER JAPAN（イギリス）、GwiGwi（インドネシア）のYouTubeチャンネルで配信されている。

直近では、7月14日木曜～17日日曜、フランス・パリ・Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord-Villepinteで開催される世界最大（4日間で25万人以上を動員見込）のジャパンカルチャーフェスJAPAN EXPO 2022に、シンガー・コスプレイヤー双方として出演することが発表された。彼女の国際的なイベント参加は、2021年7月開催のイギリス最大のジャパンカルチャーフェスHYPER JAPAN ONLINE 2021に続き二度目だが、有観客のイベント参加は自身初めてとなる。
