シド、アニメ『黒執事 -寄宿学校編-』エンディングテーマに書き下ろし新曲「贖罪」が決定！新アー写公開

2023年、結成20周年イヤーを駆け抜けたロックバンド・シド。先日2024年第一弾シングル「面影」がリリースされたことが記憶に新しい中、新曲「贖罪」がアニメ『黒執事 -寄宿学校編-』エンディングテーマに決定したことが発表された。

アニメ「黒執事」とシドは縁が深く、テレビアニメシリーズで2作品、劇場版で1作品の主題歌を担当。
2023年12月にリリースされたトリビュートアルバム『SID Tribute Album -Anime Songs-』では、セバスチャン・ミカエリス役を担当する小野大輔が「モノクロのキス」を歌唱。
歌唱情報を解禁した際はSNS上で大きな話題を呼び、Xでは「モノクロのキス」が日本トレンド入り。まさに”お祭り騒ぎ”となった。

4月13日（土）より放送スタートとなる『黒執事 -寄宿学校編-』では初めてとなるエンディングテーマを担当し、実に4作品目の「黒執事」とのタッグを組むことが決定。
「贖罪」に関してシドは「この曲は『黒執事』の世界観や今回のストーリーに寄り添いながらメロディ、歌詞、アレンジを構築していき、『黒執事』らしさ×シドらしさを目指して作りました。」とコメントを寄せており、度々主題歌を担当した作品だからこそ生み出すことができた化学反応を、お楽しみに。

さらに、エンディングテーマ情報の解禁に合わせて最新のアーティスト写真と楽曲のリリース情報が公開された。
「贖罪」のデジタルリリースは4月12日（金）に決定、アニメオンエアに先駆けての配信リリースとなり、一足先に楽曲を楽しんでもらい、アニメのオンエアを楽しみに待っていてもらいたい。

5月には河口湖ステラシアターでのライブも控えるシドの新たな楽曲、そして21周年目第一弾ライブを、見逃さないでもらいたい。
