シド・ヴォーカル マオによるソロプロジェクトが新たにスタート！

2023年、結成20周年イヤーを駆け抜けたロックバンド・シドのヴォーカルリスト、マオ。
マオ from SIDとして過去作品をリリースしていたが、新たに”マオ”としての1stアルバム『habit』のリリースが5月29日（水）に決定した。

マオとして新たにリリースされる1stアルバム『habit』は5月29日（水）に2形態にてリリース。
全曲マオが作詞・作曲を行った本作は、”ロック”をテーマに全10曲の渾身の楽曲たちを収録。
初回生産限定盤は写真集とA2ポスター、トートバック、布パッチ、缶バッジセットがコンパイルされたLPサイズの豪華仕様になっている。
さらに、シド オフィシャルSNSにはリード曲「ROUTE209」のMusic Videoの一部を使用したアルバムティザー映像も投稿されているため、チェックしてもらいたい。
そして、合わせて全曲をいち早く聴くことのできる全曲試聴会やリリースイベントの開催も決定した。
全てマオが登場し、楽曲にまつわるトークや、ミニライブを行う予定となっているので、お楽しみに。

さらに、6月からスタートする全国ツアーの詳細も発表された。
アルバムと同名を冠したこのツアーは、nishi-ken（Key）、Leda（Gt）、Shoyo（Ba）、DUTTCH（Dr）の強靭なサポートミュージシャン4名とともに全国14ヵ所を巡る、マオ史上初となるオールスタンディングでのライブツアーとなっている。
チケットは本日19時よりマオ オフィシャルファンクラブ「Mao’s Room」の会員優先予約がスタートする。

シドとして精力的に活動を続ける中、発表されたマオとしての活動。
ヴォーカリストとしての確固たる決意を示したアルバムが、そのアルバムを引っ提げたライブツアーでどのように打ち鳴らされるかを、見逃さないでもらいたい。
