GLAY、蜷川実花とコラボしたニューシングルのMVとジャケットを公開

　GLAYが蜷川実花が監督を務めたニューシングル「BLEEZE」のMVを公開した。

　GLAYが7月9日にリリースする「BLEEZE～G4・III～」の表題曲であり、9月20日に東北・ひとめぼれスタジアム宮城にて10年振り に開催される大型野外ライブ「GLAY EXPO 2014 TOHOKU」のテーマソング「BLEEZE」。20周年、そして50枚目の記念すべきシングルとなる今回のMVは、TERUの発案で蜷川実花が監督を務めることとなった。もともと2004年にGLAYのカレンダーの撮影をしたことから意気投合！　約10年振りにMVで初タッグを組む事になった。

　3月上旬にレコーディングスタジオでGLAYメンバー、そして蜷川実花が直接打ち合わせをおこなったが、楽曲から導かれるイメージが同じだったことから、打ち合わせは約30分程度で終了し、MVの方向性が固まったそうだ。撮影は4月上旬に都内近郊の大型撮影スタジオで行われ、楽曲のイメージにぴったりなカラフルなセットで行われ、終始笑い声が絶えない明るい現場での撮影となった。

　「BLEEZE」は夏がテーマの曲でGLAY史上、最も爽快なMVとなり、GLAY EXPOのロゴのモチーフとなった東北六県の旗をイメージしたカラーのシルクがバックに彩られた美しい映像に仕上がった。「GLAY EXPO 2014 TOHOKU」のテーマソングということで、蜷川実花が大型音楽野外フェスをイメージし、100名にも及ぶエキストラが参加し、EXPOの会場を彷彿とさせる映像に注目してもらいたい。 また、蜷川実花はCDのジャケットの撮影も担当し、統一された「BLEEZE」のアートワークも完成した。

【TERU　コメント】
「BLEEZE」は、全体のイメージをキラキラさせたサウンド作りにした事もあり、MVも「キラキラ」をテーマに作りたいと思ってたところ、 AKB48のヘビーローテーションがTVでオンエアーされているのを見て、僕が求めていたキラキラ感はコレだ！と思い、監督を調べたら、蜷川 実花さんだったので、即、オファーさせて頂き打ち合わせをしました。サンプル映像を見て、僕は、GLAYであのキラキラ感を出せるのは、蜷川実花さんしかいないと確信しました。そして、そんな僕の思いを受け止めてくれた蜷川実花さんが作り上げてくれた世界は、僕が想像した以上のキラキラな世界でした。蜷川実花ワールド全開な映像を是非楽しんで頂きたいと思います。」
