ユニコーン、山形公演にて全国ツアーファイナル！

　2011年以来、約2年半ぶりに開催されたユニコーンの全国ツアー「ユニコーンツアー 2014 イーガジャケジョロ」が、6月4日（水）、5日（木）の山形・やまぎんホール公演にてファイナルを迎えた。

　ABEDONの故郷でもある山形。熱狂的なファンが詰めかけた会場では、開演前のBGMにも手拍子が湧き上がる。

　客電が落ち、演奏がスタートすると大歓声が巻き起こり、緞帳が落ちてメンバーがいよいよ登場！ まずは“ニセン14（カズシ）"ことEBIの見せ場、アルバム『イーガジャケジョロ』でも異彩を放つ「夢見た男」からスタート！ ユニコーンならではのユーモア溢れるオープニングに一層大きな歓声が巻き起こる。一転、続くアルバムのリードトラックでもある「KEEP ON ROCK'N ROLL」では、OTが絶唱、骨太なロックを叩きつける。そして続くは、名曲「スターな男」。割れんばかりの歓声に包まれるなか、ハイテンションなオープニングパートを駆け抜ける。

　オープニングのEBIしかり、アルバム『イーガジャケジョロ』でメンバー個々の持ち味がいかんなく発揮されていたように、ライヴでもメンバーそれぞれがセンターで大活躍するパートが続く。EBIが「お前BABY」、「ハヴァナイスデー」と主役をはれば、次のブロックでは“コンド55号"こと川西幸一がタクシー運転手に扮した寸劇からセンターに陣取り、カクテルドラムで「俺のタクシー」や、タイトルトラック「イーガジャケジョロ」を披露。“IT社長"ことテッシーも「新甘えん坊将軍」で暴れまわったかと思うと、メンバー全員がはけたステージ上で「それだけのこと」をピアノ弾き語りで披露するなど、めくるめくユニコーン・ワールドが展開されてゆく。

　アルバムで表現された個性が完璧なかたちで昇華された素晴らしいショウを見せつけ、ライヴはクライマックスへ。本編ラストは「大迷惑」、「Boys & Girls」、「Feel So Moon」とアッパーな楽曲を連発！ 鳴りやまない歓声が続く。

　そしてアンコールに突入すると、正真正銘、本日の真打、ブルース・リーのトラックスーツに身を包んだABEDONが客席最後尾から登場というサプライズ！ さらには、なんと呼び込まれたメンバー全員が一人ずつ客席から登場するという前代未聞の“プロレス入場5連発"！ メンバーの地元でのファイナル公演、そんな特別な夜ならではの大サービス演出となった。

　ダブルアンコールでは、OTがファイナル公演を盛り上げてくれたファンに感謝の言葉を述べ、「すばらしい日々」を披露し大団円で幕を閉じた。

　ユニコーンは、6月28日（土）、29日（日）の幕張メッセ2days公演と、7月7日（月）、8日（火）の大阪城ホール2days公演、残り4本の追加公演を開催。25公演のホール・ツアーでバンド・アンサンブルに磨きを掛けてきた彼ら。追加公演では今回のセットリストにもれた名曲も組み込まれる予定だそうだ。アリーナクラスの会場でどんなパフォーマンスを見せてくれるのか、期待が高まる。
