人間椅子、ニューアルバム収録曲「なまはげ」MV解禁

　今年でバンド生活25周年を迎える人間椅子の新作『無頼豊饒』より、「なまはげ」のミュージックビデオが解禁となった。

　2006年発売のアルバム『瘋痴狂』の収録曲である「品川心中」以来のミュージックビデオとなる今作は、先月15日に都内ライブハウスにて、抽選で選ばれたファンクラブの会員がお客さんとなり、普段のライブとは一味違う雰囲気の中で収録されたものである。曲の全編を通して、重苦しくハードなギターのリフが繰り返され「なまはげ」が襲い掛かってくるような楽曲になっている。本日よりiTunesでも「なまはげ」の先行配信がスタートしたのでこちらもチェックしてほしい。

　また、シンコーミュージックより6月17日に発売される『ヘドバン』Vol.4では、和嶋慎治の連載コラムがスタート。キャンプが趣味ということもありテーマは「孤独の野営/一人キャンプ」。音楽活動とはまた違う彼の一面が見れるはずである。同号には、「人間椅子の70年代ハードロックのススメ」として、メンバー全員がお気に入りの70年代ハードロック名盤を挙げてのインタビューも掲載される。

人は何者でもない。無限の可能性を秘めた、一個の自由な存在だ。

人生の目的が物品、安定を求めることのみとするならば、それは悲しいことでしょう。手に入れられるだけのものは手に入れるかもしれませんが、それ以上の広がりは望むべくもなく、ひいては自己の限定につながっていくでしょう。そして人は優しさを失っていきます。
　およそ人は何者でもありません。（名前、社会的役割は便宜上のものにすぎないということ）そのことに気がつきさえすれば、すなわち自由な精神でありさえすれば、思いもよらない豊かな状態に人は進めるのではないでしょうか。なぜなら自由とは、無限の可能性のことだからです。
　ひるがえって、この度人間椅子はバンド生活二十五年となります。ここまでやってこれたのは皆様のお陰、そして自分たちがピュアで自由なハートを持ち続けたからこそと思っています。お陰さまで人間椅子は昨今、以前よりよい環境で活動をさせてもらっています。自分たちに照らし合わせても、自由であれば豊かになれる、と痛感している次第です。
　アルバムタイトル「無頼豊饒」とは、無頼→自由のロック的表現、豊饒→状態の豊かさ、と受け取っていただければ幸いです。
　アルバムジャケットは、浮世絵風（役者絵）です。先年オズフェストに出演して、より日本のロックバンドであるとの当人たちの意識が高まったこともあり、ジャパニーズのポップさを表してみました。
　「無頼豊饒」、これからの人間椅子につながるアルバムが出来たと思っています。
