【DIAURA】夏のワンマン・ツアー最終公演で原点でもある恵比寿リキッドルームに立つ！

　過去最大規模となる7大都市ツアーのファイナル『完全独裁領域渋谷公会堂』を年末に控えたDIAURAが決行した、8月10日・11日の2日間に渡る最終公演を設けた夏のワンマン・ツアー『日本独裁計画2013』。各地でSOLD OUTが続出する中、最終幕に選んだ舞台は、彼らの原点でもある恵比寿リキッドルームであった。

　赤坂BLITZでのワンマン公演を終えて――。「ここに立つと気が引き締まる感じがするし、その想いを刻みたくて」と語るyo-ka（Vo）は、さらなる躍進を目指し、その一歩を踏み出そうとしているようだ。10日は主催イベントとして、heidi.や12012ら豪華出演陣が名を連ね、その日のO.A.を同所属事務所のグリーヴァが努めた。翌11日の単独公演には熱狂的なファンがフロアいっぱいに詰めかけ、その様子からも彼らがヴィジュアル・シーンに衝撃を与え続けていることは明確であった。

　可能性を追うようにはじまった同ツアー。“独裁"の称号でもある漆黒の旗をなびかせyo-ka（Vo）が登場すると、シンフォニックなサウンドと共に、DIAURAの王道とも言える「胎動」で幕を開けた。乾いたギター・サウンドが鳴り響き、“愚民共、敬礼！"と、はじまった「禁断領域」。統一されたフロアから忠誠心を感じながら、一直線に煽りを効かせた激しいステージ。「DEAR RULER」では早々にフロア全体を揺らし、観る者をオーラの中へと引き込んだ。現メンバー、yo-ka（Vo）/佳衣（G）/翔也（B）/達也（Dr）の4人体制が整うまで、慎重に活動を重ねてきたDIAURAだが、この日の中盤では、そんな“DIAURA再生計画"の要でもあったシングル「SIRIUS/Lily」も挟み、刹那的な表情、悲しいほどに美しい儚さをフロアへ漂わせた。シーンの中でもその楽曲のメロディ・センスに目を見張るものがあるDIAURA。ダーク性を持った耳をつんざくような轟音と疾走感を持った楽曲を基点として前進してゆく。スラップ・ベースから空気を一変させた「cult」では、ディストーション・ギターと重厚なサウンドで空間を支配し、「anti people」で荒々しい生きた音をステージへぶつけ、フロアとコール＆レスポンスでその関係性を示す。クライマックスに向け、「お前たちのマスターは誰だー！？」とフロントマン・yo-kaがバンドの軸ともなる「MASTER」で圧倒的な存在感を魅せ、その光景をしっかりと観る者の目に焼きつけた。彼ら自身のエネルギーがフロアの熱量を異常なまでに上昇させる流れは見事であったが、今後バンドとしての飛躍が待っているように、彼らの可能性というものは、ほんとうに先を見据えて、動きはじめたばかりなのかもしれない。

　アンコールは1stアルバムから「TERRORS」、8月にリリースされたばかりの最新シングル「失翼の聖域」と全4曲を披露の後、ダブル・アンコール。yo-kaは「日本独裁計画の2度目があったから3度目もあると思いませんか？」と、今後の展望を語り、壮大な「Garden of Eden」で彼らだけの唯一無二の領域に合唱を響かせた。その演奏はドラマティックでもあり、感泣を誘うもの。「ここでファイナルを迎えられて本当に幸せでした。これからも、さらにデカくなる壁を、ぶち壊していきましょう」と、去り際にyo-kaの口から出た言葉は、まだ見ぬ未来へ光を照らし、楽園をさらに拡大させてゆくことを感じさせるものであった。
