Plastic Tree、ニューシングル「マイム」リリース！ 待望のツアー追加公演発表も！

Plastic Treeがおよそ1年振り、35枚目となるニューシングル「マイム」をリリースした。

「マイム」は浮遊感のある歌声とエッジーなバンドアンサンブルが同居するサウンドが中毒性抜群のキラーチューン。カップリング曲「トゥインクル」「リコール」含め、結成20周年を迎えてなおバンドの充実ぶりが垣間見える、瑞々しい3曲となっている。また、「マイム」のミュージックビデオは、ループ感のある楽曲にリンクした、映像も同じ場所をループし続ける不思議なビデオとなっている。ミュージックビデオ内でヴォーカル・有村 竜太朗が初披露している艶やかなマイム（身振り・手振り）も必見だ。

今作のアートワークは、人気アニメーション作家ユニット「劇団イヌカレー」の泥犬が担当。全4種のジャケットは縦に並べると繋がり、ループするデザインとなっており、プラの世界感と劇団イヌカレーの世界観が見事に融合したアートワークは発表以来大きな反響を呼んでいる。

9月15日からは「結成20周年“樹念"ツアー2014『そしてパレードは続く』」と題した全国ツアーもスタートする彼ら。追加公演として10月19日に渋谷公会堂での公演も決定しているので、シングルと共にチェックしておこう。
