凛として時雨、「PSYCHO-FES サイコフェス」にて1年3か月振りに生演奏＆新曲を披露

この日行われたイベントは、人気声優陣による朗読劇で会場が盛り上がった後、1期のダイジェスト映像がスクリーンで放映されると、謎のカウントダウンが行われ、照明が落ち突然ステージは暗転。会場を埋め尽くすオーディエンスが固唾を飲んだ瞬間、ステージに同アニメの第1期オープニングテーマを担当していた凛として時雨の3人が登場。出演を知らされていなかった会場からは怒号の様な歓声が沸き起こり、会場は総立ちに。そして耳慣れた印象的なギターのアルペジオにのせたTKのウイスパーヴォイスと共に、1期オープニングテーマ「abnormalize」の演奏がスタート。同曲を披露した後「時雨ー！」「TKー！」など歓声が沸き起こる中、TKが「声が高いほうのオープニングを歌っている凛として時雨です。2期のオープニングテーマを歌わせて頂きます。」と言い、続けざまにアグレッシヴに切り裂くようなギター・リフを鳴り響かせ、先日「PSYCHO-PASS サイコパス2」のTV-CMにて一部音源が解禁されたばかりの、待望の2期オープニングテーマ「Enigmatic Feeling」を演奏。初めてフルで、しかも生演奏で聴けることになった4000人のオーディエンスの沸点は最高潮に達し会場は大歓声に包まれ、演奏が終わった後もスタンディングオベーションが続き、鳴り止まない拍手の中、メンバーはステージを後にした。

今回イベントで初披露した待望の新曲「Enigmatic Feeling」は、9月26日（金）24時からYouTube Official Channelにて公開中。激しく硬質なギター・リフにドライヴするベース・ライン、メタリックでラウドなドラムサウンドによるエクストリームで唯一無二のサウンドにのせて、TKと345による男女混成による超絶ハイトーン・ツインボーカルが描き出す白昼夢の如き夢幻の世界を表出させるこのバンドの真骨頂とでもいうべきスリリングでオルタナティヴなキラー・チューンに仕上がっている。

凛として時雨は先日、11月5日にシングル「Enigmatic Feeling」をリリースする事を発表。 バンドは昨年6月の日本武道館でのワンマンライブ以来、実質活動停止状態にあっただけに、今回の生演奏はファンにとって嬉しいサプライズとなった。いよいよ再始動した凛として時雨の今後の活動にも注目しよう。
