ZIGZO、東名阪ツアーが東京2DAYS公演で開幕

ZIGZOが10月20日、21日の2日間、東名阪の3カ所で行なわれる「ZIGZO LIVE TOUR 2014 “FOREVER YOUNG"」のスタートとなる東京公演を東京・Mt.RAINIER HALL SHIBUYA PLEASURE PLEASUREにて行なった。

10月20日、10月21日の両公演は共にソールドアウトしており、満員となった会場は、これから始まる“お祭り"を待ちきれないという興奮にも似た雰囲気に包まれる。

会場が暗転し、SEが流れ始めると、ZIGZOメンバーが静かに登場する。一曲目は、アルバム『FOREVER YOUNG』でも1曲目に収録されている「渦」。重厚な音から始まり、ライブスタートからロックンロール全開で走り始める。続いても、「少年の足跡」「ひまわり」と人気曲を披露し、会場の熱を更に上げていく。MCを挟んだ後は、「B型ゆえのLOVE SONG」を披露。ここからロックながらも、しっとりと聴かせる新旧のZIGZO流のラブソングを6曲続けて演奏する。続いて、高野哲（Vo）が、「今回のアルバムの中で、“タイトル"が気に入っている2曲」と公言している「空飛ぶピアニスト」「しわくちゃな夢」を愛情込めた、熱量のあるパフォーマンスを披露し、観客の意識をステージに更に集中させていく。そして、再メジャーデビュー後の2ndアルバムから「Dancing in the chains」のプレイを皮切りに、立て続けのロックンロールで会場を熱狂の“渦"へと誘っていく。

MCに入ると、高野哲より「うーん。解散しようか。」とのびっくり発言が！　会場の至る所から悲鳴が響く中、「嘘です。」と飄々と言い放つ。続けて、「来年もZIGZOは続きます。今後とも応援をよろしく。」とファンとの固いつながりを実感して、ライブのエンディングに向け、真っ直ぐと走り続ける。再結成後にリリースした作品のリード曲を連発していき、ライブの最後は、今回のリリースツアーのアルバムタイトルにもなっている「FOREVER YOUNG」を熱演し、ライブは終了した。

2015年の一発目となる東京・AiiA Theaterでのワンマンライブも発表し、デビュー15周年を迎えるモンスターバンドから、まだまだ目が離せない。
