GLAY、20周年の締め括りとなる東京ドーム公演の開催を発表

現在、20万人を動員予定の「GLAY ARENA TOUR 2014-2015 Miracle Music Hunt」を開催中のGLAYが12月6日(土)、さいたまスーパーアリーナ公演で10年振りとなる東京ドーム公演の開催を発表した。

2012年7月29日、長居スタジアム公演の際に発表された「7 BIG SURPRISES」の最後、「デビュー20周年　約束のドーム公演開催」として20周年に開催される事が約束されてていた東京ドーム公演。その開催日程は2015年5月30日(土)と31日(日)の2days！

10年前に行われた「GLAY DOME TOUR 2005”WHITE ROAD” in TOKYO DOME」の公演最後に、TERUが「10年後、このステージにジャケットを絶対に取りにくるから」という言葉を残し、衣装である白いジャケットをマイクスタンドにかけ、ステージを後にした事はファンの間では語りぐさとなっている。

そこで交わした約束の為、この10年間ドームでの公演を一切行わず、スタジアムライブや野外ライブ、アリーナツアー等を開催してきたわけだが、来年5 月に10年ぶりに東京ドームでの公演が正式決定し、20周年のグランドフィナーレを飾る。東京ドーム公演は 2日間で10万人の動員を予定しているとのこと。

この発表にあたり、GLAYオフィシャルサイトでは特設サイトもオープン！　是非ともチェックしていただきたい。

そして、この発表があった当日のさいたまスーパーアリーナ公演だが、最新アルバム「MUSIC LIFE」の収録曲を中心に、ファン投票で上位に選ばれた人気バラード曲を織り交ぜながら全20曲を披露！　ド派手なステージセットと映像で演出された ROCK SHOWで、集まった2万2000人のファンを前に、TERUはツアータイトルと掛け合わせ「ミラクルが起こる夜にしようぜ！」と会場を盛り上げたのだった。

GLAY20周年の締めとして、10年前に東京ドームに置いてきた約束を果たすために、再び、ぼくらは夢のステージに立ちます。
この10年間、野外大型ライブを多々経験してきましたが、あの約束の日から、この日を目標にやって来たので、培ってきた経験や、思いを全てぶ つけたいと思います。
みんなで掲げた、あの日の約束が叶う瞬間を、是非一緒に過ごしましょう！
