D'ERLANGER、デビュー25周年記念ニューアルバムはバンド史上初の海外レコーディング

メジャーデビュー25周年を迎えるD'ERLANGER（デランジェ）が、ワーナー・ミュージック移籍第2弾、約2年ぶり7枚目のニューアルバムを4月22日にリリースすることがわかった。

4月22日は奇しくも、2007年に17年ぶりの奇跡の再結成ライヴ「薔薇色の視界」を日比谷野外大音楽堂で実施した日であり、再結成から8周年という節目の日でもある。

今作はバンド史上初の海外（LA）＆日本でのレコーディングを敢行！ 1月下旬より秘密裏に渡米したメンバーは、STEAKHOUSE STUDIOSで初の海外レコーディングを行ない、今でもファンに熱狂的な支持を受ける25年前のメジャーデビューシングル「DARLIN'（ダーリン）」とメジャー2ndシングル「LULLABY（ララバイ）」の2015年ヴァージョンを録音した。特に「LULLABY」は、2010年9月にリリースされた再結成後のセルフカバーアルバム『a Fabulous Thing in Rose』でもピックアップされなかっただけに、どんな音に仕上がっているのかが楽しみなところだ。

この2曲に加え、もう1曲LAレコーディングを行なったのは、前作6thアルバム『#Sixx』に収録されている名曲「Candy in the shape of you」。同じく2015年ヴァージョンとして録音、通常盤のみのボーナストラックとしての特別収録される。

ニューアルバムは、初回限定盤デラックス・エディション（CD＋DVD）と通常盤の2形態でのリリース。特典DVDには、最新ツアー「Dance naked, Under the moonlight TOUR 2014」から2014年11月9日に行なわれた渋谷CLUB QUATTROでのライヴに加え、LAレコーディングのドキュメンタリーやメイキング映像などが収録される予定だ。

アルバムリリース後の全国ツアーは、5月2日（日）の名古屋Electric Lady Land公演を皮切りに、ファイナルとなる6月14日（日）東京・赤坂BLITZまで、全10公演を駆け抜ける。怒濤のアニバーサリーイヤーとなることは間違いない。
