打首獄門同好会、“日本の米”をテーマに掲げた新曲を5月6日にリリース

打首獄門同好会が、2月22日に恵比寿LIQUIDROOMにて行なわれた芦沢ムネト企画イベント「NYA!NYA!NYA!～EXTRA～」のライブ中、5月6日に新曲を発売することを発表した。


これまで"生活密着型ラウドロックバンド"として、「食」にまつわる歌を数多く歌ってきた打首獄門同好会。満を持して今回のテーマは、日本人の心『米』！　最終的に何故か感動してしまう、名曲が誕生したとのことだ。丼もの、定食、品種、そして「米を米米を〜♪」という聞き覚えのあるフレーズまで盛り込んだ、とことん「米」に捧げた一曲。ここまできたらお米を作ってしまえ！という企画も進行中らしいので、打首獄門同好会のお米計画にこれからも期待していきたい。

さらに"岩下の新生姜"の岩下食品社長の“打首に取り上げて頂けるように精進しなくちゃ"のつぶやきに、元々新生姜が好きだった打首獄門同好会が即座に反応して出来上がったのが、岩下食品の公認ソング「New Gingeration（ニュージンジェレーション）」。

岩下の新生姜とは、栃木県栃木市に本社を置く『岩下食品株式会社』の代表商品。台湾のみで栽培される本島姜（ペンタオジャン）という特殊な生姜を使用した生姜の酢漬け。香り高く爽やかな辛味、シャキッとした歯切れの良さが特徴だ。関東近郊で“岩下の新生姜♪"のフレーズが印象的なCMでもお馴染みである。『日本の米』、そして『岩下の新生姜』公認のニューソング。これさえあれば日本の食卓は大丈夫！

そして新曲発売を記念して、5月9日（獄の日）にレコ発主催イベントの開催も決定。是非こちらにも足を運んで頂きたい！
