GLAY、ファンが投稿で参加できる新感覚のミュージックビデオ制作企画がスタート

GLAYが3月1日より無料映像配信サービス「GYAO!」とタッグを組み、新感覚のミュージックビデオ制作企画「つづれ織り ～so far and yet so close～MV Project」をスタートさせた。

同企画はGLAYファンの皆様から投稿頂いた3000枚の写真をつなぎ合わせてバラード人気1位の楽曲「つづれ織り ～so far and yet so close～」のミュージックビデオを完成させるというもの。

「つづれ織り ～so far and yet so close～」は、10年前の2005年に発表されたTAKURO作詞・作曲のバラードナンバーで、2014年にリリースしたニューアルバム『MUSIC LIFE』の「BALLADE BEST☆MELODIES」の収録楽曲を決めるにあたり「アナタの好きなGLAYの曲、初めてGLAYを聴く人におすすめしたい曲」としてファン投票を行った際に、堂々の1位に輝いた楽曲。

今回のアリーナツアーでも幻想的な演出でファンを魅了し、遂には2015年1月14日付け有線J-POPチャート1位になるなど話題を集めて いる。まさにファンの想いが詰まった大切なバラードナンバーを、ファンのみなさんと一緒に作りたいという思いから、10年間積み上げられた絆をもとに、ミュージックビデオの制作に至った。下記は　TERUからのコメント

「10年の月日を経て、つづれ織りのMUSIC VIDEOを作成するきっかけになったのは、曲のテーマである愛情、そして今まで感じ合ってきたGLAYとFANのみんなとの繋がりを映像にしたいと思っ たからです。20年もの間活動し続けられてきたGLAY！その活動を支え続けてくれたFANのみんなと1つの作品を一緒に作りたいと思い、今 回専用のアプリを制作すると言う大計画となりました。是非、ご参加下さい！一緒に素敵なMUSIC VIDEOを作りましょう！ 」

3月1日より「GYAO!」に「GLAYのMVに出演しよう：つづれ織り～so far and yet so close～MV Project」特設サイトを立ち上げるとともに、Google Playに「GLAYのMVに出演しよう：つづれ織り～so far and yet so close～MV Project」のアプリを提供、App Storeでも近日提供予定だ。同アプリで、ランダムに表示されるシチュエーションをファンが撮影・投稿し、集まった写真から選ばれた3000枚の写真をつなぎあわせてミュージックビデオを作成しよう。
