GLAY、デビュー日に20周年アニバーサリーシングル第3弾をリリース

今年デビュー20周年を迎えたGLAYが、彼らのメジャーデビュー日である5月25日にニューシングルをリリースすることが決定した。

今作は昨年リリースされた「BLEEZE～G4・III」「百花繚乱／疾走れ！ミライ」に続き、20周年アニバーサリーシングル第3弾としてリリースされる。タイトルは「HEROES／微熱Ⓐgirlサマー／つづれ織り～so far and yet so close～」で、プロデュースは今作もは亀田誠治が務める。

「HEROES」は4月から放送のテレビ東京系アニメ『ダイヤのA-SECOND SEASON-』のオープニングテーマで、前オープニングテーマ「疾走れ！ミライ」同様、TERUが作詞・作曲を担当。爽やかなロックナンバーで、夢を追う 人々の背中を押す応援ソングが完成した。また、10年越しとなる約束の東京ドーム公演のテーマソングにも決定している。「HEROES」は4月27日（月）放送の『ダイヤのA-SECOND SEASON-』でオンエアがスタート！

「微熱Ⓐgirlサマー」はHISASHIによる作詞・作曲で、夏のスカナンバー。ドラマーにはねごとの小夜子が参加しており、GLAYとしては初の女性ドラマーとのコラボレーションということで、要注目の楽曲だ。

そして、ファン投票1位に選ばれ、無料映像配信サービス「GYAO！」とファン3,000人を公募して行なうミュージックビデオ制作企画も話題を集めている「つづれ織り～so far and yet so close～」のシングルカットが決定！ 10年前にリリースされたGLAYファンから最も愛される名バラードがシングルとして甦る。

また、今作のアートワーク、「HEROES」のMVは関和亮が担当し、シングル「DARK RIVER」以来のコラボレーションも実現！ 注目度抜群の豪華トリプルタイアップシングルで、GLAYの駆け抜けた20周年を締めくくる。

さらに、アニメイト、Loppi・HMV、G-DIRECTでのオリジナル特典も発表。アニメイトオリジナル特典は「テレビアニメ『ダイヤのA』書き下ろしドラマCD」、Loppi・HMVオリジナル特典は「スペシャルDVD」（ライヴ映像収録予定）、G-DIRECTオリジナル特典は「テレビアニメ『ダイヤのA』オープニング映像スペシャルDVD」となる。
