GLAY、「Short Shorts Film Festival ＆ Asia 2015 AWARD」受賞セレモニーに登壇

GLAYが昨年リリースしたシングル「疾走れ！ミライ」のShort Movieが、Short Shorts Film Festival ＆ Asia 2015 AWARDにてミュージックショート部門シネマチックアワード特別賞を受賞した。

受賞セレモニーでは監督を務めたARATA監督と共にGLAYメンバーも登壇。監督はGLAYのメンバーの出演は無かったが、メンバーから色々とアイデアをもらい制作した話や、オール函館ロケを行ない、撮影した際の函館の方々の温かさを語った。TERUからは受賞の喜びと共に、実はTERUの実家で撮影されたシーンがある事など撮影秘話も明かす一幕も。

この「疾走れ！ミライ」のShort Movieは、函館の地で育った4人の少年達が音楽を通じて仲間との友情、恋、挫折を経験しながら、決して諦める事の無いロックという夢へ向かって走り続ける姿を描いたサクセスストーリーで、当時配布していたチラシやTシャツ等も忠実に再現された映像も見所。このShort Movieはシングル「百花繚乱／疾走れ！ミライ」のCD＋DVD盤に収録されている。

また、6月16日の夜よりTOKYO MX TVを皮切りに全国で放送されるGLAY激動の20周年イヤーを総括したスペシャル番組「GLAY 20th Anniversary ～20年の軌跡～」では、先日行なわれたばかりの東京ドーム公演の映像はもちろん、東北六魂祭や昨年宮城で行なわれたGLAY EXPO、また、GLAYを発掘しデビュー曲をプロデュースしたYOSHIKI（X JAPAN）、昨今の楽曲のプロデュースを務める亀田誠治のインタビューを交え、20年のGLAYの軌跡を紹介。

6月21日（日）19時30分～20時00分テレビ埼玉にて、6月27日（土） 25時55分～26時25分メ～テレ（名古屋テレビ放送）にて放送も決定し、放送エリアも順次拡大中。是非チェックしよう。
