vistlip、アルバム『LAYOUT』を引っ提げた全国ツアーが終幕

vistlipが6月22日、ニューアルバム『LAYOUT』を引っ提げ、4月24日の東京・新宿BLAZEよりスタートした全国ツアー『Left side LAYOUT[ idea ]』（全13公演）のファイナル公演が東京・六本木EX-THEATERにて開催した。

暗転と同時に S.E「To be awake is to be alive」が流れ、ステージを覆い尽くすスクリーンには、メンバーのシルエットが一人ずつ写し出される。映像が「Period」のミュージック・ビデオで使われたインサートカットに変わり、イントロの演奏が始まり幕が一気に落とされ待望のライブがスタート！　オープニングから会場は熱気に包まれた。

「My second B-day」「Catastrophe」とアルバム『LAYOUT』を代表するハードなナンバーが続き智(vo)が叫ぶ。「もっと来いよ東京！」、その声に応えフロア中が熱くななったことは言うまでもない。アルバムからのリード曲「REM SLEEP」はメンバーの死を連想させる印象的な映像で話題となったミュージックビデオをなぞるようにシャープな演奏でまとめ、「Another one step」「Bay the rain」「Idea」「Jack」とアルバムからの曲が続く。このツアーで練り上げられた完成度の高い演奏ばかりだ。

「このツアーは不安ばかりだったけど、ついてきてくれてありがとう。」「このライブが終わった瞬間から、次の未来に向かって一緒に歩いていこうな。」…この時間を共にしたファンへまっすぐな言葉を智が送り、アルバムのクロージングを飾るタイトルナンバー「LAYOUT」で本編は締めくくられた。

アンコールでは「GLOSTER IMAGE」「HEART Ch.」など
ライヴでは欠かせない曲が並び、「暴れに来たんじゃないの？」と智の煽りで会場が揺れる中、ファイナルナンバー「LION HEART」まで一気に疾走し大団円。

「次会う時は俺たちもっとかっこいいぞ。」と最後に智。このツアーではアルバムに収録されている全13曲全てを披露し、新たな始まりを掲げたアルバム『LAYOUT』、そのツアーファイナルらしい、vistlipの今を凝縮し、力強い未来を感じさせるライブだった。

また同公演にて、2015年8月5日にリリースが予定されている通算15枚目のシングルタイトルが「OVERTURE」であること、そして2015年12月18日(金)に国立代々木競技場 第二体育館にてワンマンライブ『Right side LAYOUT[SENSE]』の開催が発表された。こちらも期待したい。
