GLAY、Zepp Tokyoにて函館アリーナ2daysの前夜祭を開催

7月25日（土）と26日（日）に故郷である函館にオープンする函館アリーナのこけら落とし公演「GLAY Special Live at HAKODATE ARENA　GLORIOUS MILLION DOLLAR NIGHT Vol.2」を開催するGLAY。この記念すべき公演を目前に控えた7月21日（火）に、Zepp Tokyoにて函館アリーナ公演の前夜祭を開催する事が決定した。

タイトルは『「RX-72 百科事典」爆刷記念GIG～ヒサシは舟を編みながら電気羊の夢を見るのか？～GLAY Special Live GLORIOUS MILLION DOLLAR NIGHT Vol.2～前夜祭』。7月2日に発売したHISASHIがレギュラーを務めるMUSIC ON! TV「RX-72」の番組本「RX-72 百科事典」が好評に付き、それを記念したタイ トルをHISASHIが名付けた。記念すべきライブを目前に控えた超プレミアムライブは必見だ。

GLAYが故郷・函館で単独公演を行なうのは、2013年7月27日・28日に開催した、初回となる「GLORIOUS MILLION DOLLAR NIGHT」以来。初回は2日間にわたり函館市・緑の島野外特設ステージで開催され、延べ5万人を動員した函館最大級コンサートとなり、GLAYでは初めての大雨の中での野外公演となった。約2年ぶりとなる今回は2015年7月25日（土）、26日（日）の2日間に渡り開催。函館にニューオープンする「函館アリーナ」のこけら落としとして約8,000人を動員予定だ。

また、MUSIC ON! TV「RX-72」の番組本の出版を記念して、7月13日（月）21:00よりニコニコ生放送で「RX-72〜HISASHI （GLAY） VS 茂木淳一〜『アール・エックス 72 百科事典』発売記念出張特番を行なう事も決定。HISASHIと茂木淳一によるトークにも注目だ。
