Plastic Tree、3年ぶりとなるニューアルバムの詳細を解禁

10月11日に豊洲PITで行なわれたツアーファイナルで、12月23日におよそ3年振りとなるニューアルバムをリリースすることを発表していたPlastic Tree。その後アルバムに関する情報は発売日以外明らかになっていなかったが、この度ついにその全貌が明らかになった。

注目のアルバムタイトルは『剥製』。シングル「マイム」「スロウ」「落花」を含む全12曲が収録される。それに併わせて、カメラマン・中野敬久による新ビジュアルとアートワークも同時公開された。アートワークは人気イラストレーターの劇団イヌカレー・泥犬が担当。初回限定盤は劇団イヌカレー・泥犬監修のメンバーフォトブックと歌詞・アートワークで構成される豪華80Pスペシャルブックレットに加え、なんと世界に1つだけのブックレットが作れる24P塗り絵ブックレットが付属した豪華装丁で、BOX（ケース）に入った仕様となる。前述シングル3部作で話題となった劇団イヌカレー・泥犬とのコラボアートワークの集大成といえる豪華な作品に仕上がったとのことだ。

フルアルバムとしては2012年12月にリリースされた『インク』からおよそ3年振り、通算13枚目となる待望の作品だけに期待が高まる今作。特典情報も公開されているので、早速チェックしてみよう。

また、アルバムリリース後の12月29日（火）30日（水）にはバンド恒例の年末公演「ゆくプラくるプラ」をTOKYO DOME CITY HALLで開催することが決定。1日目はPlastic Tree前期（'95年～'04年）の楽曲から、2日目は後期（'05年～'15年）の楽曲からそれぞれ全曲ファンリクエストによる構成で開催される。こちらも続報を楽しみに待とう。
