打首獄門同好会が新曲「TAVEMONO NO URAMI」MVを公開

11月18日にミニアルバム『まだまだ新米』をリリースする打首獄門同好会が、同作の1曲目に収録される「TAVEMONO NO URAMI」のミュージックビデオを公開した。

打首獄門同好会のMVというと、丼や定食の写真が連続描写される「日本の米は世界一」や、少女漫画風の「私を二郎に連れてって」など、独特なアイディアのコミカルな作品が多いが、今回はうってかわって欧米メタルバンドを彷彿とさせる、ダークな雰囲気の作品になっている。

その様子から、ファンの間ではイントロから「いつもと違う」「他のバンドかと思った」と驚きの声も挙がったが、歌が始まると「腰から崩れ落ちた」「いつもの打首だった」と安定の評価を得ており、どうやらギャップを最大限に活かす手法は今回も健在のようだ。その真価はぜひ、公開されたミュージックビデオを見て確かめてほしい。

なお、ミニアルバム発売日前日となる11月17日には、渋谷TSUTAYA O-EASTにて同日にアルバムを発売するバックドロップシンデレラとのWレコ発ライブを開催する。ゲストに四星球を招いてのスリーマンライブとなるこの公演のチケットは現在発売中なので、気になる方はこちらもチェックしてほしい。

その後、2バンドは合同レコ発ツアーも発表しているが、すでにソールドアウトしている日程もあるようなので、詳細はオフィシャルHPを確認してみよう。
