5ヶ月連続配信!!「かなでももこROCK PROJECT」、第５弾まで発表!!

8月より5ヶ月連続で実施、「かなでももこROCK PROJECT」のためにプロジェクトを彩る様々なサウンドプロデューサーが楽曲提供。現在、第三弾まで楽曲を配信中。
昨年発売した1stミニアルバム『KANADE』を通しかなでももこは、「彼女の中に潜む音楽性や心模様を、七つの色」を用いて表現。今回の「かなでももこROCK PROJECT」では「抑圧と解放」を、すべての楽曲の歌詞に於けるテーマに据え、ダーク/ヘヴィ/ハード/バラード/メロディアスと様々な顔を持つ楽曲を表現してきた。

8月に配信開始になった第一弾作『Sing in the Dark』を手がけたのは、活動当初からかなでももこに楽曲を提供し続けている俊龍を中心とした"俊龍チーム"。9月より第二弾曲として配信中の『福音-GOSPEL-』は、仮面女子の楽曲の多くを担う永田雅規をリーダーに"仮面女子チーム"が担当。最新楽曲『流れ月』は、声優・喜多村英梨の楽曲などを多く手がけている"山口朗彦/河合英嗣チーム"が担っている。
11月と12月に配信を予定している楽曲たちにも、名だたる制作陣が参加。11月27日配信曲「胎動」のサウンドプロデューサーはＹＯＵ（ＧＡＣＫＴ　ＪＯＢ）12月の配信楽曲は作詞、作曲に摩天楼オペラ　Vo.苑とサウンドプロデューサーにtatsuoが決定！！
今回、現在配信中の『Sing in the Dark』『福音-GOSPEL-』。そして、最新楽曲の『流れ月』へ向けてのコメントをいただいたので、以下に紹介しよう。

『Sing in the Dark』
(作詞/作曲:俊龍/編曲:Yu-pan.）
「俊龍さんは、これまでにもデビュー曲『赤いメモリーズをあなたに』や『Can you save my heart?』や『Ocean of Lights』を提供してくださったように、私の歌声もよくわかってくださっている方。サビが一発で頭に残る、メロディアスさを持った恰好いい曲に仕上がりました。歌詞に関しては、「殺す」などの恐ろしい言葉も出てくるように、捉え方によっては多重人格者にも映る、ホラーやサスペンスな要素まで入り交じった内容なんですね。なので、次々と場面の変わる様も含め、幾つもの心模様さえ一つの人格として受け止めながら歌いました」

『福音-GOSPEL-』
（作詞:武村大(Team 仮面女子)/作曲:永田雅規 Team 仮面女子)/編曲:佐々木久夫)
「ダークでゴシックな雰囲気から始まり、サビで一気に開けてく感じが印象深い歌です。とくにサビの最後で、私の歌声は一気にオクターブ上がります。そのレンジの広さを描いたことで、歌に迫力が増したのは良かったことでした。歌詞は、「私はもう駄目なんだー、もう何もしたくない」と絶望に陥った姿から始まるんですけど。サビで、「私には歌がある」と気持ちが立ち上がってゆく。その心の変化も受け止めながら歌っています」

『流れ月』
(作詞:かなでももこ/作曲:山口朗彦/編曲:河合英嗣)
「今回のシリーズを通して表現している歌詞のテーマが「抑圧と開放」なんですね。『流れ月』に私が込めたのは、デビューしてからの道のりを言葉にしながら、「これからも歌を届けるぞー」という前向きな気持ち。でも同時に、何時までも続く保証も約束もない世界だからこそ、そこに対する想いも歌詞に記しました。中へ「偽りの強さ振りかざし　笑い顔な自分に嘆く」と書いたように、人によっては突き放した言葉に聞こえそうですが、けっしてそんなことはなく、それも「抑圧と開放」を私なりに捉えた言葉なんです。あえて細かい説明しないので、いろいろ想像を膨らませてください」

「かなでももこROCK PROJECT」自体が、彼女の中に眠っていたいろんな可能性を芽吹かせてゆく嬉しい挑戦の機会になっている。第四弾サウンドプロデューサー　ＹＯＵ（ＧＡＣＫＴ　ＪＯＢ）のと「胎動」は11月27日配信決定！！第五弾の制作陣も作詞、作曲に摩天楼オペラのVo.苑とサウンドプロデューサーにtatsuoと発表。ロックファンなら嬉しい悲鳴を上げそうなコラボレートが行われる。

12月11日(金)には、渋谷RUIDO K2を舞台にワンマンライブ「かなでももこ　2nd Anniversary Live 2015 『Color and Dark』」が行われる。タイトルへ「『Color and Dark』」と名付けられたように、色(Color)をテーマにした1stミニアルバム『KANADE』と、ダーク(Dark)さを打ち出し続けている「かなでももこROCK PROJECT」、それぞれの魅力を存分に楽しめる内容になりそうだ。

他にもかなでももこは、「ゲームアプリ『琉球異聞 朱桜の繋』」の主題歌『花香鮮夢』を現在配信中。こちらでは、「かなでももこROCK PROJECT」とは間逆の表情を見せているように、ぜひ、彼女の持つ多様な音楽性を味わっていただきたい。
