大森靖子、ニューアルバムで漫画家・奥浩哉＆直木賞作家・朝井リョウとコラボ

3月23日に発売となる大森靖子のメジャー第2弾フルアルバム『TOKYO BLACK HOLE』。その全貌が明らかになった。

完全生産限定盤【穴盤】は、大森が初の長編書き下ろしをした本とDVD付き。ジャケットは『GANTZ』『変』『いぬやしき』など数多くの名作を発表してきた漫画家、奥浩哉が担当。CDジャケットを手がけるのは初とのことで、大森からの“中央線沿いに住んでいそうなやわらかくて可愛くてエロい女の子を描いてください！”という要望に応え、大森の愛器かつ名器であるギブソンのハミングバードをありのままの姿で抱える絵となっている。

さらに【穴盤】の穴場＝出産の瞬間までの本人による200ページにわたるエッセイには、『桐島、部活やめるってよ』で鮮烈なデビューを飾り、『何者』で直木賞を受賞した朝井リョウが、3,000字の解説と帯コメントを執筆している。大森のブラックホールを解剖するにあたり、文筆という側面に触れてみるのも一興だ。
