BABYMETAL、待望のアルバムプレオーダー＆ティザー映像の公開がスタート

BABYMETALが4月1日に世界同時発売するニューアルバム『METAL RESISTANCE』のアルバムプレオーダー、新曲「KARATE」の先行ダウンロードがiTunesにてスタートした。それに伴い、ティザー動画がオフィシャルYouTubeにて公開された。

先日詳細が発表されたニューアルバムは数曲のライブ披露済みの楽曲の他は全て新曲が収録されている。今回先行ダウンロードが開始された「KARATE」は“セイヤ ソイヤ"というかけ声と空手の型のような振り付けや、サビのメロディーと歌詞のエモーショナルさが印象的な楽曲で、昨年の横浜アリーナで初披露されたもの。ティザー動画でも「KARATE」が起用されており、今後MVも公開される予定となっている。

今作は楽曲制作の中では様々な挑戦をしており、海外盤限定収録の「THE ONE – English ver. -」や「From Dusk Till Dawn」では初めて全編英語詞にトライしている。また前作に引き続きソロ＆ユニット曲も収録。SU-METAL による「Amore – 蒼星 – 」、「NO RAIN, NO RAINBOW」、YUIMETALとMOAMETAL による「GJ！」（WEB会員限定盤ではバージョン違いの「GJ！— ご褒美編 —」を収録）と「Sis. Anger」を収録。昨年、横浜アリーナ公演で「KARATE」同様に初披露された「THE ONE」は3種全て異なるバージョンが収録されており、日本盤では「THE ONE」、海外盤では全編英語詞で歌われる「THE ONE – English ver. - 」、WEB会員限定盤ではピアノアレンジによる「THE ONE – Unfinished ver. - 」がそれぞれ収録されている。

BABYMETALは4月2日（土）に日本人初となるイギリス・ウェンブリーアリーナでのワンマンライブを皮切りに「BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2016」をスタートさせ、ファイナル公演として東京ドームでの公演も決定している。詳細は後日発表とのことなので、続報を楽しみに待とう。
