LOUDNESS、コロムビア時代に発表した11作品のライナー執筆者を発表

3月30日、コロムビアより『LOUDNESS COLUMBIA YEARS SELECTION』と題された11作品およびBOXセットが発売される。

この作品は1981年のデビュー以降、LOUDNESSがコロムビア時代にリリースしたオリジナルアルバム8枚に加え、創設メンバーである高崎晃、樋口宗孝それぞれのソロアルバムをラインアップした11タイトルをメンバー立ち合いのもとのリマスタリングを行なった作品となる。

今回、その35周年特別仕様の記念BOXセットのジャケット写真と、全作品に掲載されるライナー・ノーツの執筆者が発表された。全作品に掲載される35周年記念共通ライナー・ノーツと『THUNDER IN THE EAST』までを増田勇一氏が、『SPIRITUAL CANOE ～輪廻転生～』以降とソロアルバムは、それぞれの作品に造詣の深い評論家・音楽専門誌編集者各氏が担当する。さらに高崎晃のファーストソロアルバム『ジャガーの牙 ～TUSK OF JAGUAR～』では、GRANRODEOのギタリストであるe-ZUKAが思い入れたっぷりの文章で作品に花を添えているところにも注目が集まる。2016年現在の視点で書かれた新たなライナー・ノーツによって、リマスターで新しく生まれ変わった各作品への理解がさらに深まることは間違いない。
