BUCK-TICK、9月11日に12年ぶりの横浜アリーナ公演＆8月にヤガミ・トールBDライブ開催を発表

2015年12月29日に行なわれたBUCK-TICKの16年連続となる日本武道館公演にて、9月11日に横浜アリーナでスペシャルライヴを行なうことを発表していたが、この度、ついにその詳細が発表された。

“9月11日の横浜アリーナ公演”といえば、1992年と2004年に「Climax Together」という公演名でスペシャルライヴが開催されており、前回からちょうど12年後にあたる今回の2016年公演は、“12年周期で開催される企画ライヴの第3回目”に相当。BUCK-TICKならではのスケールの大きさを象徴するライヴといえるだろう。

バンドは自身のレーベル“Lingua Sounda（リンガ・サウンダ）”をビクターエンタテインメント内に移し、現在、次のリリースに向けて制作中とのこと。来年のデビュ30周年に向けたキックオフになるであろうこの公演は、果たしてどのような選曲になるのか？ 新たな曲も披露されるのか？など興味がつきない。チケット争奪戦が予想されるだけに、詳細を要チェックだ。また、横浜アリーナ公演の開催決定を記念して、ニコニコ生放送にてBUCK-TICK特番も放送されるとのことなので、この機会に過去の復習もしておきたい。

そして、2015年に続きBUCK-TICKのドラマーであるヤガミ・トールのバースデーライヴの開催も発表された。8月に下北沢と地元である高崎にて2公演が行なわれるとのこと。普段はステージの後方からBUCK-TICKサウンドの屋台骨をしっかりと支え続けている彼だが、この日のライヴはヤガミ自身がプロデュースし、影響を受けてきたルーツソングをカバーしたりゲストを迎えて演奏したりと、いつもの“BUCK-TICKのヤガミ・トール”とは違う姿を見ることが出来る。

30年にも渡りオリジナルメンバーで第一線を走り続けるBUCK-TICK。デビュー時のレコード会社に20年ぶりの復帰を果たし、いよいよバンドにとって最も実り豊かなフェーズに突入した。新作リリースに関する詳細は明らかにされていないが、今後の動向にますます期待して間違いなさそうだ。
