布袋寅泰、35周年ライブ第5弾はロサンゼルス＆ニューヨークで！

布袋寅泰がアメリカ・ロサンゼルスとニューヨークでのライブ『【BEAT 5】～ Live in USA ～ Los Angels & New York』開催の発表と同時に、全世界配信されるデジタル・シングル「Move It（Featuring Richard Z.Kruspe）」のミュージックビデオを公開した。

彼は2月にユーロ・ツアーを敢行しているが、米国でのライブは2013年のニューヨーク公演以来。7月13日にロサンゼルスの老舗ライブハウス・トルバドール、7月15日にはニューヨーク・ハイライン・ボールルームのステージに立つ。かねてより「HOTEIはアメリカでウケる」と米国の音楽関係者から注目されており、ついにアメリカ進出の第一歩を踏み出すこととなった。

また、今回の発表と同時に全世界配信されるデジタル・シングル「Move It（Featuring Richard Z.Kruspe）」のミュージックビデオが公開。この曲は、ヨーロッパで絶大な人気を誇る、ラムシュタインのメインメンバーのひとりである、リチャード・Z・クラスペをボーカルに迎えて制作されたもので、昨年ワールド・リリースされたアルバム『STRANGERS』を代表する収録曲のひとつ。布袋の攻撃的なギター・プレイが唸るストロング・チューンが世界最高水準のDigital Rockに仕上げられ、映像では布袋とリチャードのド迫力なパフォーマンスが堪能できる必見の内容だ。

先ごろ発売された35周年アニバーサリー・シングル「8 BEATのシルエット」が好調な動きを見せるなか、6月22日にはベスト・アルバムのリリースが決定している布袋寅泰。さらに加速していくであろう布袋寅泰の35周年アニバーサリープロジェクトに、期待が高まる。

「僕はこのビデオをシンプルなものにしたかった。なぜかと言えば、リチャードは非常に強い個性の持ち主だから。さらに、僕は全く違う個性だし。最初は何かストーリー風にしてみようと思ったんだけど、結局二つの全く異なる個性が一つのスクリーンに収まっている、というところに焦点を置いてみたんだ」
