シドのマオが“マオ from SID”として6月にソロデビューを発表

シドのヴォーカリストであるマオが“マオ from SID”として、ソロプロジェクトを始動させる事を発表した。

シドは2008年にメジャーデビュー。数多くのヒット曲を世に放ち、2010年には東京ドーム公演を行なうなど常にシーンの一線を走ってきた。2016年1月にはインディーズ時代から最新シングルまでを含む『SID ALL SINGLES BEST』をリリース。活動13年を迎える中、新たな挑戦としてキャリア初のソロプロジェクトをスタートさせる。

6月22日には1stシングルにしてダブルAサイドシングルの「月 / 星」をリリース。また、“マオ from SID”ではバンド活動とは一線を画した形態での全国各地インストアツアーも敢行。 マオの特長である“力強さ"と“甘さ"が同居した歌声が至近距離でも堪能できることになりそうだ。
