TAKURO（GLAY）、初のインストアルバムを松本孝弘（B'z）がプロデュース

GLAYのTAKURO（G）が、初のソロプロジェクトとして1stインストアルバム『Journey without a map』を12月14日にリリースすることが決定した。

本作は、B'zの松本孝弘をプロデューサーに迎え、ロサンゼルス在住のトップミュージシャンとレコーディングを敢行した意欲作。録音方法に関しては、TAKURO所有の3台のギブソンレスポールのビンテージギターを使用した深みのあるサウンドになっており、ジャズ、ブルースを基調とした音作りで、1音1音こだわり抜いて制作された。GLAYとは一線を画す、ギタリストTAKUROとしての魅力が詰まっており、タイトル通りTAKUROの「地図無き音の旅」を楽しめる1枚となっている。

パッケージはCDに加えアナログ盤もリリース。CD+DVD盤のDVDにはアルバム『Journey without a map』に至るまでのTAKUROのギタリストとしての軌跡を描いたドキュメンタリーを収録予定とのこと。

また、2017年2月からは東京ステラボールを皮切りに、ファイナルのZepp Tokyoまで全国9ヶ所15公演を回るツアー「Journey without a map 2017」の開催も決定している。詳細はオフィシャルHPを確認しよう。

ギターに詩を読ませるが如く、ギターで弾くメロディーの中に様々な情景や感情が浮かぶような作品にしたいと思っていました。
シンプルなラインにじっくりギターで表情をつける事を念頭においてレコーディングを進めていました。
GLAYとはずいぶん違う音楽に聴こえますが、これもまた僕自身素直に浮かんだ音楽なので、ギターアルバムは続けて作りたいと思っています。

Journey without a mapはギターを弾くのが大好きな男が気ままに小さなバーで毎週末弾いている、、、、そんな自分を想像しながら作ったアルバムです。
一息つきたい時にお酒でも飲みながら聴いていただけると嬉しいです。
