POLYSICS、結成20周年記念再録ベスト盤の詳細と新アー写を解禁

2017年に結成20周年を迎えるPOLYSICSが、20周年を記念して2月22日にリリースするニューアルバム『Replay!』の詳細と新アーティスト写真を解禁した。

先日出演した『rockin'on presents COUNTDOWN JAPAN 16/17』のステージ上でリリースがアナウンスされ、早くも本作の収録曲「Tune Up!」が披露され話題を呼んでいたが、結成20周年にかけて、成人の日である1月9日に詳細が発表された。

本作はPOLYSICSの過去楽曲を最新アレンジで再録音した楽曲を中心とした再録ベストアルバムとなっている。「Tune Up!」は本作の為に録音された新曲であり、2016年10月13日に行なわれた新宿ReNYで行なわれたライブ音源も3曲収録。初回生産限定盤にはCDと同楽曲、同曲順にて選りすぐりの過去ライブ映像が収録されている。中でも「カジャカジャグー」はハヤシ自ら編集した特別verだ。POLYSICSの過去から現在まで網羅した、これを機に初めて聴く人にもぴったりな内容となっている。なお、公開された新アーティスト写真のデコレーションケーキはマジパンアーティスト・大和さやか氏によるものだ。

1月24日からは出演者が全てPOLYSICSという前代未聞の3マンツアー、『20周年直前!奇跡の3マン!!!リターンズTOUR 〜POLYSICS×POLYSICSシャホー×「1st P」再現POLYSICS〜』がスタートし、3月4日（土）には結成20周年記念ライブ「20周年 OR DIE!!! All Time POLYSICS!!!」を豊洲PITで行なうなど、1年をかけて20周年を記念した企画が数多く行なわれる予定となっている。2017年のPOLYSICSに是非注目して欲しい。
