Mayday、2年ぶりの日本武道館公演でポルノグラフィティ 岡野と共演

Maydayが2017年2月3日・4日の二日間に渡り、日本武道館にて「Re：DNA ～2017 復刻版～」を開催した。 サプライズゲストとして、ポルノグラフィティのボーカル岡野昭仁も登場した。

2015年に開催した、“「Just Rock It 2015 TOKYO」at 日本武道館”ぶりの来日となった今回のライブには、日本国内外から2日間で約2万人の熱狂的なファンが会場に詰めかけた。アジアのスーパーバンドの異名を誇るMayday。そのライブは日本武道館でも健在で、大量のバルーンや、レーザーなどド派手な演出が光るステージ。先日、日本でも発売された、「自伝 History of Tomorrow」からの楽曲や「Do You Ever Shine?」、「Dancin' Dancin’ feat. TERU (GLAY)」など日本語曲を織り交ぜ、ファンを沸かせる。

Vo. 阿信（ASHIN）がMCで「Re：DNA ～2017 復刻版～」へようこそ！武道館に戻ってきました！みんなに会えて本当に嬉しいよ！今日のライブでみんな幸せになって帰ってね！」と、再び日本武道館に戻ってきた喜びを、会場のファンに伝えた。他のメンバーもMCで、石頭（STONE）「台湾や上海でもコンサートをやったけど、武道館はやっぱりアットホームな感じで安心します」瑪莎（MASA）「外は寒いけど、武道館の中は熱い！いろんな有名なアーティストがたったステージに僕らも再び立つことができてとても嬉しいです！」、怪獸（MONSTER）「お元気ですか？また武道館でライブができて嬉しいです！新しいアルバムを持ってきたので今日はその中からたくさん披露します！」、冠佑（MING）「今日は最終日でとても寂しいけど、みなさん楽しんで帰ってね！」とそれぞれが日本でライブをする喜びを伝えた。

ライブ本編が終わり、アンコールが鳴り止まないステージに再び登場したMayday。ポルノグラフィティ 新藤晴一氏が日本語詞を手がけたパーティーチューン「Buzzin'」で会場の熱気は再び最高潮に！そしてMCで、Vo. 阿信（ASHIN）が「次にやるこの曲を書いてくれた、ポルノグラフィティの岡野昭仁さんと一緒にを歌おうと思います！」というとステージにポルノグラフィティ 岡野昭仁氏が登場した。岡野昭仁氏が日本語作詞を手がけ、ゲストボーカルとしても参加している、「Song for you feat. Akihito Okano （PORNOGRAFFITTI）」を奇跡のコラボレーションで披露。日本と台湾のスーパースターのコラボレーションにファンは歓喜した。曲が終わると、岡野昭仁氏は「生まれて初めて他のアーティストに歌詞を提供させてもらいました。それがMaydayのこんな素晴らしい曲で本当に嬉しいです」と喜びを言葉にして伝えた。

今回の日本武道館公演も大成功に収めたMayday。アジアのスーパーバンドの名の通りの圧巻のパフォーマンスだった。
